Skippers Meetings are super important for any event to run smoothly and for riders to make the most of a competition.

This 2025 we had @proleezure run the competition. Shout out to @gromgormley and Rachel for a great job this year. Thanks to all of the skippers for helping us all keep the event on time!

When you come to the La Ventana Grom Fest to watch the action, be ready to feel like part of the community 🤍

It’s a place to volunteer, meet people, make new friends—and even learn about dogs looking for a forever home.
Meet Marylin 🐶 She’s 4 months old and ready to be adopted. Message @barkforbaja for more info on her!

The whole town came out to support the groms! 💙

Thank you, La Ventana, for cheering loud, backing the riders, and supporting the event by grabbing merch. Missed it? You can still support the groms by buying merch online—comment merch on this post to order yours!

Grom Fest mornings at Playa Central Windsports feel laid back, but the buzz is real as competitors fuel up and prep their gear for the championship ⚡️🌊

Huge thank you to the parents and riders who showed up early, supported every moment, and truly gave it their all. From making sure the kids were fueled, focused, and fully geared up, to cheering them on through every heat—you’re a big part of what makes this event so special. This championship wouldn’t be possible without the commitment, preparation, and heart you bring to La Ventana Grom Fest. 💙🌊

🌊 MEET THE RIDER 🌊
@willliammilburn | 15 | Canada 🇨🇦

Representing Canada at La Ventana GromFest, this young rider is already turning heads with strong technique, smooth control, and a fearless approach to the wind. Focused, driven, and constantly progressing, they bring serious energy to every session and show what the next generation of kiteboarding looks like.

A rising talent with a bright future ahead — keep your eyes on this one. 🌬️🔥 He definitely has the "William mindset."
