POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A little behind the scenes from our Spring Fling at @studioprk.oc 🌸

Watching photographers connect, strangers become friends, ideas bounce around the room, and people fully play and create in the set… this is exactly why we built this space.

So many of these moments happened in between the “official” moments. The conversations. The hyping each other up. The experimenting. The laughter between frames.

Only 1.5 weeks left to shoot in this custom Caroline Tran set before it’s gone.

So many sweet memories have already been made in this little world we created at Studio PRK ✨🌼

That’s what I love most about this set.
Yes, it’s whimsical and magical… but what makes it special is the people inside it 🤍

And just like spring, it won’t be here forever.

Only 2 weeks left to shoot in this exclusive Caroline Tran set before it disappears.

There’s something really special about watching creatives come together in one space and inspire each other. 🌸

Different photographers. Different styles. Different stories. Yet everyone brought something completely unique to this set.

One person would start an idea, someone else would build on it, and suddenly the whole room was creating together. That’s the kind of energy I always hoped @studioprk.oc would hold.

Not just a studio. A space to experiment, collaborate, hype each other up, and make beautiful things alongside people who get it.

So grateful for this community and everyone who poured their creativity into these portraits ✨

Thank you @fundydesigner @fundylatinoamerica @lensbabyusa for sponsoring this night of community and creativity!

Still feeling grateful. 🤍
This night was a reminder of why connection over comparison matters so much.

So many familiar faces, new connections, laughs, and real conversations — none of this happens without the people who show up for each other.

Huge thank you to everyone who came out and to our incredibly generous sponsors who continue to support this community year after year:

This SCPWP holiday night was something special, and I’m thankful for every person who helped make it happen. ✨

Grateful is not just the name of the music, but the mood @wppievents this year.

I showed up to WPPI in 2012 alone. I was a mechanical engineer trying to find my place in photography. Sat at a bar, eating lunch, wondering why I was even there.

My wife reached out to a photographer she knew @erichchen and asked if he’d meet me. He said yes. We had dinner. He introduced me to his friends. That night changed everything.

Fast forward to now: 11 years full-time in this wild, beautiful career. I haven’t always been able to attend every year, but I’ve always made space for the things that matter: my family, this craft, and the community that keeps me inspired.

13 years in, I’ve seen it all. The kind-hearted givers, the takers, the lifters, the users. But what I’ve learned is this:

Trust your gut. Protect your energy. Show up for the people who show up for you.

Because sometimes… one dinner, one person, one moment can change your whole life.

I am thrilled to announce that I have once again participated in a Photography competition, and the results are in!
I’m over the moon to share that I’ve won awards in three different genres, and it’s truly a testament to my love for photography and the continuous journey of honing my craft.
Photography is more than a passion; it’s the fuel that feeds my soul, ignites my creativity, and drives me to explore the world through my lens.
