One year ago I was asked a question, “Why aren’t you vaulting?” And that one question turned into a wave of motivation and training that took me back to the Dauphin Street Vault!
-
In a year I’ve gone from clearing 14’ giving it my all in the best conditions to clearing 15’ 9” as my opening bar, coaching the majority of the day before vaulting and being up for 12 hours prior to my warm up
-
I also was presented the “Spirit of the Vault” award by the staff of the DSV for me and the staff of FSPV for our support to the street meet and I was honestly speechless after getting the award. Recognition is not something I typically accept but it is something I am learning how to accept and be grateful for!
-
Lastly I was able to vault with the brotherhood of the vault. Guys I watched for years as I recovered from injuries and am now in a position to compete along side. That is priceless and something I am forever grateful for every time I get to compete!

DSV 2026 was an absolute success and am ready to bring better mojo into DSV 2027 🤙🔥🐦‍🔥

Sometimes you just need a change in scenery/vacation to get your mind relaxed so your body can do what you’ve trained it to do! 16’ 9” from 8 steps 🤙🔥

Mission success for the 5th year of Pole Vault in The Plaza! We saw both our meet records broken by @flygirl93 and @carson__waters, with 4.50m and 5.65m, respectively. We even saw the bar raised to 5.80m/ 19ft. That’s the highest bar ever attempted here in Naples! Thank you to the fantastic team at @stmatthewshouse and @knbcoss for making this all possible. Without them, none of this would have been possible. To help support their mission of solving hunger, homelessness, and addiction, please visit their website at stmatthewshouse.org. Thank you to each of our sponsors and volunteers who helped bring this event together! Thank you to @mercatonaples for hosting us for the past 5 years and being the foundation of something incredible. Thank you @rubentrrs954 for the photos!
