Just a gratitude post for so many incredible friends.

A year ago @zoedane and I took a leap and changed cities, primarily because the people felt so aligned. We definitely found our people. Austin is super vibrant and we look forward to deepening our roots even more in 2026.

In honor of Halloween, today I am releasing the never before seen Nightmare scenes from my last short film. I felt that the detail and nuance of the different edited versions was worthy of its own case study, so here we are.

You can catch the full film on my YouTube. 👻🌈🎉

Shoutout to the team:
@rubychase for going there in her incredible acting.
@reigntheartist for his masterful presence on screen.
@willpowercinema for being my right hand wizard on nearly every big shoot that I do.
@nickkane8 for being an essential jack of all trades with so much heart.
@misshoopdidoo for the BTS and support.
@sickofbeingfamous for being the coolest and most helpful guy on set.

𝕊𝕠 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕟𝕒 𝕓𝕦𝕚𝕝𝕕 𝕒𝕟 𝕖𝕞𝕡𝕚𝕣𝕖?⁣
I did too.⁣
Until I realized the blueprint I was being told to follow wasn’t mine.
⁣
Most of the business models we’ve inherited⁣
were built on colonizer consciousness—⁣
performance over presence, profit over people,⁣
scarcity woven into the seams.⁣
⁣
Even the “spiritual“ spaces,⁣
the empowerment programs,⁣
the “sovereign brands” and “six-figure businesses”⁣
are often shaped by the same old game:⁣
Grow fast. Be seen. Scale big. Stay ahead.⁣
⁣
But at what cost?⁣
⁣
It’s no wonder so many of us feel burnt out,⁣
like we’re chasing a dream that doesn’t even belong to us.⁣
⁣
Because beneath the noise…⁣
there’s a quieter song.⁣
A remembrance.⁣
A longing for something more—⁣
real. rooted. relational.⁣
⁣
Over these last few weeks,⁣
I’ve been in the alchemy.⁣
Scrubbing floors & walls, literally and psychically.
Clearing old programs.⁣
Re-parenting my nervous system.⁣
Listening for the truth beneath the noise.⁣
⁣
And what I’ve found is this:⁣
The success I truly crave⁣
has nothing to do with titles, numbers, or status.⁣
⁣
It’s the success of belonging.⁣
Of weaving. Of nourishing.⁣
Of co-creating a life that feels like home.⁣
⁣
I don’t want to rule. I want to root.⁣
I don’t want followers. I want kin.⁣
⁣
Because the “New“ Story isn’t about being the solo star of the show.⁣
It’s about remembering we are all stars in the same sky,⁣
each with a unique frequency to offer the whole.⁣
⁣
I’m not here to build an empire that towers above.⁣
I’m here to co-create a living village that pulses with love.⁣
One that honors slowness, reciprocity, and right relationship.⁣
One where our gifts are shared—not to prove our worth,⁣
but to feed the collective soul.⁣
⁣
So if you’re tired of chasing someone else’s dream…⁣
Come sit by the fire.⁣
You’re not alone.⁣
⁣
There’s a different story unfolding now—⁣
and you’re already a part of it.

🌍✨ In this powerful scene, Luz, an immigrant, and Norma, a conservative woman, sit down to share a meal. But just as they’re beginning to bridge their differences, a knock at the door changes everything.

Who could it be? Is it Norma’s daughter, finally returning home? Is it someone from Luz’s past, searching for her? Or did Norma end up making that call to ICE, deciding to report Luz?

To find out who’s at the door and what happens next, click the link in my bio and watch the short film for free. 🎬

🌍✨ When words fail and cultures collide, we often find ourselves in a place of misunderstanding. In the scene I’m sharing, we witness Luz and Norma, two women from different worlds, trying to connect despite the language barrier and their conflicting views on immigration. Luz, pregnant and crossing the border in search of a better life, and Norma, a North American who values rules and safety, find themselves at odds. 🌐🤝

But what happens when we step beyond our differences? Can humanity bridge the gap and bring us together?

Want to see how Luz and Norma’s story unfolds? Click the link in my bio to watch the short film for free! It’s only 16 minutes long, so it won’t take much of your time, but we hope you find it as impactful as we do. 🎬💫

Behind the scenes of Abrazo—because filmmaking isn’t always as smooth as it looks on screen! 😅

Sometimes, everything seems to go wrong all at once: we got locked out of the location and had to get creative with tools to unlock the door. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Then there were moments when we had to take a quick break and just dance it out to release the stress, especially when technical problems were piling up!

And, of course, a big shout-out to our incredible DP who was not only behind the camera but also jumping in to fix parts of the house falling apart! 💪

These moments remind me how lucky we are to have such a supportive team that’s willing to jump in and help out wherever needed. There’s always a few hiccups on a shoot, but it’s when you have a crew that can laugh off the challenges and keep the energy light that makes everything flow smoothly. That’s what keeps the magic going—working together, staying positive, and always moving forward!

And don’t forget—Abrazo premieres tomorrow at 6 p.m. L.A. time, FREE to watch on YouTube! 🎬 The link is in my bio! 🌟

As we count down the days to the world premiere of Abrazo this Friday at 6 p.m. Los Angeles time, 8 p.m. Bogota, and 9 p.m. New York time, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey that got us here.

This film has been a labor of love, and I want to take a moment to thank the amazing cast, crew, and everyone in post-production who poured their hearts into this project. You all gave it your best, and it shows in every frame, every word, and every moment of the story.

From the very first day on set to the final touches in editing, Abrazo wouldn’t be what it is without your dedication, passion, and hard work. I’m beyond grateful to each and every one of you for being part of this journey.

Filmmaking is a team effort, and when you work with people who love what they do, magic happens. I can’t wait to finally share this film with the world and celebrate the incredible work we all did together.

📸 Behind every great film is an incredible team, and I’m beyond grateful for the amazing cast, crew, and post-production team who made Abrazo possible. These Polaroids capture just a glimpse of the hard work, creativity, and passion that went into bringing this story to life.

Filmmaking is truly a collaborative effort, and I believe in the power of creating a family on set. From the first day of shooting to the last day of editing, it’s about supporting each other, having fun, and allowing everyone to contribute their creativity.

I’m so thankful for each and every person who gave their time, energy, and talent to this film. Without all of you, we wouldn’t have made it this far, and I will always cherish the memories we made together.

Here’s to the art, the team, and the love we put into this project. You all made this experience unforgettable. 🙌💫
