There is something powerful that happens when you stop trying to get it “right” and simply allow yourself to move.

Movement has a way of reaching places that words can’t.

As I danced alongside others, I was reminded that our bodies hold so much. Grief, joy, fear, love, resilience. Sometimes healing isn’t found in figuring it all out. Sometimes it’s found in taking one breath, one step, one movement at a time.

I’m deeply grateful for spaces that weave together music, Indigenous wisdom, cacao, sound, and community to help us remember what has always been within us.

Maybe coming home to yourself isn’t about becoming someone new.

Maybe it’s about allowing yourself to fully feel alive again.

What helps you reconnect with yourself? I’d love to hear in the comments. And if you’re navigating grief or a season of transition, I’d be honored to hold space for your story. Send me a DM or visit the link in my bio to learn more about my podcast and upcoming offerings.

On Sunday, I had the opportunity to celebrate with The Hive as they marked one year since the flood.

Watching people gather, dance, laugh, and reconnect was a beautiful reminder that community has a way of carrying us through life’s hardest seasons.

One of the things I love most is witnessing spaces where people can simply be themselves. Where they’re welcomed, supported, and reminded they don’t have to navigate life alone.

It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful celebration and to witness the resilience of a community that chose to come together, not because the past was forgotten, but because life continues to unfold with hope, connection, and gratitude.

What community or group has helped you feel seen and supported during a difficult season? I’d love to hear about them in the comments.

Last night, under the energy of the full moon, I had the opportunity to attend a poetry and art gathering that left me feeling inspired, reflective, and deeply present.

Listening to Caitlyn and Robert share their poetry while beautiful music filled the room was one of those experiences that invited everyone to slow down and simply feel.

No fixing.
No rushing.
No distractions.

Just words, music, art, and the reminder that our stories matter.

I also had the joy of meeting Caitlyn and getting my copy of her book signed, a small moment that felt meaningful in a much bigger evening centered around creativity, connection, and expression.

Mindfulness isn’t always found in silence.

Sometimes it’s found in being fully present with a poem, a song, a story, or a moment that reminds you that you’re not alone in what you feel.

What is something you’ve read, heard, or experienced recently that stayed with you long after it ended? Share below, I would love to hear.

There are stories we carry quietly.
Moments that changed us… shaped us… stayed with us.

And for a long time, they live only within us.

But sometimes, sharing your story
isn’t just about you.

It’s about the person listening
who finally feels seen in their own experience.

That’s the space I’m creating with After the Silence.

A place for real, honest conversations around grief, loss, and the moments that redefine us.

If you feel called to share your story…
I invite you to apply.

The link is in my bio.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to be willing to be real.

Loved this place!
What if your daily cup grounded you instead of rushing you?
This is tea with purpose.
Follow The Lion’s Den and step into the ritual.
I definitely did!
