Halfway through the year already. ☕️

Here are 20 moments that have made 2026 special so far.

From Coffi and customers, Sgwrsio Cymraeg, Run Portablo, Stonehenge, Safer NPT, boxing, sponsorships, community events, new specials, mugs, cups and plenty of laughs along the way.

Every photo tells part of our story, and we’re only halfway through the year.

Diolch to everyone who’s supported us, called in for a coffee, joined a run, learnt a bit of Welsh or simply stopped for a chat.

Here’s to the next six months… more Coffi, more community, more adventures, and plenty more memories to make together.

Fuuuuuck!!!!
Another amazing human being and a dear brother to us lost. RIP Alberto Olivares, AKA Blazer. 💔
Without question the most gifted producer I have ever known. One of the original members of VII, Alberto was instrumental in helping launch the label and in defining its sound. His own sound was a fusion of psy with tight, futuristic breaks and his skills in sound design also gave him a fruitful career in score. He did sound design for many high budget Hollywood movies including Chronicles of Riddick, Wolverine and Mad Max. He made deeply emotive music for documentaries, games and trailers and was also a phenomenal DJ who rocked several of our parties good and hard. We toured together in the US, Europe and Australia and above everything Alberto was one of the coolest mofos I ever did meet. Super chilled, kind, warm and very witty.

He told me in April 2023 he had ALS, a terminal disease that attacks the motor neurone capacity of the brain as well as the spinal cord and muscles. We kept in touch and as his physical capabilities diminished and his body weakened he discovered and developed new ways of working in the studio where he implemented sophisticated software and technology that allowed him to continue producing using his eye movements to control his DAW and soft synths. A determined awe inspiring response to a disease that tried to rob him of his ability to create. That’s who Alberto was. Never give up.

He made an astonishing album in January last year called Afterlife. Not sure if it was ever released digitally but I urge you to find a copy on vinyl because it’s insanely good.

Alberto was an amazing man, an original member of VII and without his input the label would not be what it is today.

A tragic loss to the underground but in his music and sound design his legacy will live on.

For my next guest mix, episode 31 I've called @fullc0ursemusic to the decks! Full C0urse is a trance producer who has been creating music for over a year, quickly establishing a name through releases on labels including Suanda Music, State Control, We Are Trance, and Redux Recordings.

His main focus is uplifting trance, while also exploring other sides of the genre such as progressive trance and tech trance. His productions have received support from respected artists including Manuel Le Saux, Roman Messer, Susie Solar, DJ Phalanx, and Bigtopo.

In addition to producing, Full C0urse hosts the monthly radio show C0urse Selection on Afterhours FM, where he showcases the latest trance music alongside his own productions.

Driven by a passion for emotional melodies, powerful energy, and continuous artistic growth, Full C0urse is steadily developing his distinctive sound and connecting with trance listeners around the world.
