I never got to see the sun in London, but it was quite fun

London time has come to an end.
Two full months in the cold, windy and rainy English capital. To be transparent, I’ve never wanted to come here, it was never a priority to visit the UK. But life takes me where I need to be.

There are plenty of stories to be told and great memories saved in the mental photographs I took. There were so many words written and steps taken.

After several *the office* episodes and 6-7 jokes that still pisses me off; after extremely expensive coffee and transport, too much codeine and super hot showers with better pressure than the ones in my home; after lost pajamas and helping people find their phones around the city; after delicious veggie dinners and weekly meetings at Notting Hill; after all that, I still feel I could have stayed more, because no matter how cold and how rainy this city is, it’s all about the people. about laughs and tears shared.
It’s about being able to get lost and letting people help you find yourself.

I never wanted to come here but I’m so glad I did. It started off very shitty but two weeks and a half in, everything became so good and I understood why I had to come here.

To everyone I met during my time in England, to all those I saw one last time, to the people I learned to love, to the second chances, thank you.

Off to the next chapter.

One month in London gave me a few trips to the hospital, drag karaoke, great live music, delicious dinners, really cool people and speaking Portuguese again.

Almost one year travelling it’s keeping me quite busy.
Some bruises along the way, old new friends that came to visit and so much cold. I think I might be starting to know myself again, one step at a time.
