It was a spectacular time on the Purple Carpet celebrating our student-athletes and athletic department success! 🐻🟣 This event meant a little more to our team knowing that something like this just couldn’t have happened without the work from every one of our BCTV students. Whether behind the camera or in the control room, we were there every step of the way for our Grizzlies. This year, in addition to our entire team’s work, we celebrated 2 of our very own students with our BCTV awards. 🐻🎥🟣 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗕𝗖𝗧𝗩 𝗠𝗩𝗣: William Trier ⭐️ 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗕𝗖𝗧𝗩 𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗥: Lachlan Donaldson-Loescher 🎯 #ButlerCC #ButlerCommunityCollege #BCTV #roargrizz🐻 #BUCONation

𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦 at BCTV with Sophomore Will Trier! We’re taking a live look at just one example of the shots our camera operators film during our @butlergrizzlies games! Here, Will has an ISO tight shot on the pitcher before the pitch release. During the wind-up the Director will switch off of him so that he can go wide enough to follow the play after the pitch is throw. Then it’s all up to his ball tracking, awareness, skills, and techniques to help him identify where the play is going and all within a split second of the crack of the bat. This is an excellent example of staying ready so that you don’t have to get ready. 🎥⚾️💥 #BCTV #ButlerCommunityCollege #BCC #BehindTheBroadcast #BTS

Every game is an opportunity for these students, and every time they continually remind us why we let them drive the bus! This small sequence is just a small fraction of what our production looks and consists of. Teamwork, collaboration, communication, preparation, and active listening. All intangibles qualities that solidify our students passion, dedication, and desire to be great! ⚠️🐻🟣🏀 #ButlerCC #ButlerCommunityCollege #BCTV #BCC #BUCONation
