It’s bittersweet to celebrate the final season of Survival of the Thickest. 💜 (now streaming on Netflix go check it out!!!!)

Being part of all three seasons has been one of the greatest blessings of my drag career. Over the past four years, this show has grown alongside me, reminding me to dream bigger because everyone deserves to see themselves represented.

To @michellebuteau —thank you. Thank you for creating opportunities for people who are so often overlooked. Thank you for telling our stories, uplifting our voices so fiercely and unapologetically, and proving that you can do it all with sass, class, and by making the haters kiss your ass. You are a beacon of joy, hope, and possibility, and your impact reaches far beyond the screen.

I also want to thank every single person who brought this world to life. From production to wardrobe, hair and makeup, craft services, PAs, crew, my fellow cast members, and my incredible drag sisters—you all created the kind of workplace every creative deserves to experience. You made long days feel magical, and I’ll cherish these memories forever.

To everyone who watches this final chapter: thank you for celebrating stories like ours. Representation matters, laughter matters, and community matters.

Cheers to Survival of the Thickest Season 3. Thank you for letting me be a small part of something so much bigger.

Survival of the Thickest is out neowwww on Netflix!!! Is this post a few days late? Yes! Did I just finish my laundry from New York last week? Also YES! But that pile was THICK, bitch!!

What a dream to work on a show this black, this plus-size, this queer! I got to live out my bi-coastal baddie dreams working with some of the funniest writers in LA and an impeccable cast and crew in New York.

@michellebuteau created a world so bright and beautiful for us to play in. A true vision of what life could be like if we all dared to dream BIGGER than the limitations imposed on us. Watching her act, write, direct, design, parent, etc and make it look easy, was such a delight!

@amyaniobi multi-hyphenate maven! Getting to assist her as she wrote, produced, directed, edited, literally everything under the sun was an experience I will NEVA forget. blessed to be apart of her TRIBE!

To everyone pictured and anyone I missed, thank you for making my first show an experience I’ll never forget. The fashion, food, and friendship you see on screen was tenfold behind the scenes. Forever grateful for this chosenfamily!

Just a little dump of some Survival of the Thickest memories. There may be more to come, I can’t help maself! Times and places are all about who you share them with, and gotdamn, we had some good times shared with some great people. Too many to count. But thank you @michellebuteau , Sanwitz, @a24 and @strongblacklead for bringing us all together. And thank u to everyone in these photos for being such pivotal parts of the last three (ish) years of my life.

It’s SURVIVAL OF THE THICKEST premiere day.

Some playgrounds teach you how to climb. Some remind you how to laugh. This one did both.

In honor of this beautiful show I had the joy of writing and Co-Executive Producing, here’s a little peek at the beautiful chaos behind the beautiful mess.

Thank you @michellebuteau for dreaming up a playground so joyful, weird, generous, and full of heart that all we had to do was show up ready to play. You somehow managed to be the playground, the jungle gym, and the kid with the most energy all at once. A ONE WOMAN SHOW one might say?

Thank you to HBIC @amyaniobi for leading the games with so much brilliance, care, and ease. I am so grateful and honored I got to be your #2, cutie! Thank you for trusting me, championing me, and making me laugh all whilst doing that.

To the writers (y’all crack me up!), the cast (y’all also crack me up!), and the best crew in New York (y’all really crack me up too), thank you for making every day feel like recess. I laughed hard, learned a lot, and somehow got to call it work. Now the playground is open.
