This September I hosted a workshop to remind you to check in with your loved ones.. and this is how it went 🥺💛 September is suicide awareness month… I’ve always felt like there isn’t a space for people to go to reach out for help. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like you can go to your closest friends & family either because life just gets so busy 💛 This workshop hosted alongside @wiltymeetups & @thankly.co serves to encourage you to write, send or visit a loved one who you know may be having a hard time ❤️‍🩹 Everyone slowed down to write a letter & pick the most beautiful flowers to gift to someone 🥺 A huge shoutout to every single person who made this event possible, so so much love for each of you 💕 Co hosted with @wiltymeetups @wiltyplant & thank you to the amazing volunteers!! The most beautiful venue: @eva Cards, letters & gratitude postcard wall: @thankly.co Flowers & floral decor: @thelittleflorets Catering: @avianarose.co @avi.avi._ Videography & event assistance: @trinityxjohnstone #hosting #communityevents #melbourne #letterwriting #friends

We 💚 Dukkana. A new series where we share our fave community spaces. Because why not? Tell us yours, too! 🥹 @dukkana.hardingst is an independent community space for SWANA artists in Coburg. It’s home to @safaelsamad @soofflash @_fuzz_fuzz and @annaemina_ ✨ What started out as their father’s old grocery store is now a third space for storytelling, culture and creation 🎨 #coburg #melbourne #naarm #melbourneevents #communityspace
