Leaving this here because even I need this reminder sometimes. 🤍 Getting the opportunity to speak at UCSB earlier this year was a great reminder of why I started in the first place.

My journey in sports hasn’t been easy to say the least. There have been moments where this industry broke my heart, made me question myself, and even made me wonder if I should keep going. But every setback has been worth it.

To every girl who dreams of working in sports: keep showing up as your full authentic self, exactly who God created you to be. That is your greatest superpower.

If my story gives even one girl the courage to keep going after her dreams, then it’s all been worth it.

Coming back to UCSB as a founder hit different.

We passed out postcards, set up a booth in The Arbor, dropped our first ever travel trading cards, and I got to guest speak for UCSB Women in Media @wimucsb

This was always the dream! 🍋 @limondaytrips

Had the greatest honor of being a guest speaker at UCSB’s Women in Media Sports Panel this past weekend 🎙️🤍 my heart is so full.

Only God knows how much I’ve prayed for moments like this. I didn’t always know exactly what I wanted to do, but I knew from a young age I wanted to use my voice to inspire and create impact.

This is what it’s all about, pouring into others, sharing your story, and hopefully leaving people better than you found them.

Thank you @wimucsb for the opportunity to speak and connect with so many incredible young women, truly so grateful 🙏
