Farewell Race Went Well 🤘🏻

This brutal race marks a full year of progress since my VHM back in June 2025. Cutting 10 minutes off my previous PB, from 1:58 down to 1:48. At first, I thought this result was purely the outcome of hard training and consistency. But looking back now, I realize it was also shaped by all the people who were part of the journey along the way.

This definitely wouldn’t have happened without the “sub 1:50 pact” initiated by @dwinandoriezza along with the incredible pacing and constant push from @rizkyfarras all the way to the finish line. And of course, thank you to @serikat.pelarian for all the support, energy, and cheers throughout the race.

This was also my last race in Indonesia before embarking on a new journey abroad. It feels emotional knowing this chapter is coming to an end. Thank you to everyone who has been part of my running journey so far, for the memories, the struggles, the laughs, and every kilometer shared together.

I’ll definitely miss every single one of you. See you again somewhere down the road 🫶🏻

This race means a lot to me. Not because of the result, on the contrary, it took everything I got just to be in this race. Grateful that I could still show up and cross that finish line.

Major appreciation to my coach @defickry @pelarian.academy for continuing to push me no matter the circumstances.

Also, we’re saying farewell to our good friend @azharnfl, who’s heading to the Netherlands. Great runner, better friend.

What a race to remember.
