This week I have been down in the coast, and whilst I was away I got to enjoy some delicious dairy free eats.
-
1. @thesharksfinmeva blackened white fish with mixed seasonal greens, pickled slaw and fresh lime
2. @rubysicecream vegan chocolate salted caramel and vegan mango passionfruit sorbet
3 & 4. @saltybaypizzakitchen 9” tomato base with fresh basil, anchovies, artichokes, mushrooms, sun-blushed tomatoes and chilli flakes
*not pictured - vegan house-made basil pesto to dip on the side
5. @windjammer.cafe brunch plate: smoked salmon, pan fried spinach and peppers, thyme roasted tomato, pickled red onions, mushrooms, smashed avocado, white bloomer toast and fresh lime
*not pictured - chimichurri on the side
6. @theboathousecharlestown sea bream, heritage tomato and watermelon salad with roasted chickpeas, pomegranate seeds, and fresh mint
Besides the beautiful food, each place was so accommodating and made me feel so comfortable and safe with my choices.❤️

Five Cornish spots, independently checked and rated on the Golden Paw Scale — from dog-themed cocktails to places just getting the basics right.

Save this for your next Cornwall trip. Nothing here is sponsored — we rate the dog’s experience, not the human’s.

🍔 Sometimes only a proper burger will do…

📍Windjammer, Falmouth

If you’re after a meal that’s unapologetically indulgent, Windjammer delivers.

We ordered the burgers with cheesy fries, crispy chicken tenders and a side of mac & cheese to share (because why choose just one?)

The burger was juicy, stacked high with flavour and packed into a soft brioche bun, while the cheesy fries were everything you’d hope for – golden, crispy and loaded with melted cheese. Comfort food at its best.

OK so today wasn't ideal either.

On plan breakfast again, lunch questionable BUT was still full as we ate quite late so no dinner - gotta count for something, right?

Yes I KNOW that's not how SW works but it's better than another meal of calories.

Well that's my defence and I'm sticking to it - fresh start again tomorrow 🤞🏼
