Florence and Swann 💍

Make up by @marlene.neysa

A Melbourne civil registry wedding, with a lot of personality.

Florence and Swann wanted photographs that felt elegant, but still like them.

So we wandered through Windsor Hotel, one of Melbourne’s most beautiful historic interiors, made use of all those lines, colours and architectural details, and mixed the more composed portraits with plenty of moments where they could simply laugh and enjoy being together.

This is probably one of my favourite things about architecture and weddings.

You don’t need a huge wedding day to create photographs that feel considered, meaningful and completely your own.

Happy (slightly belated) Anniversary to Christiane and Craig.

We started the day with getting ready and a first look at one of my favourite hotels for photography, The @windsorweddings

A sunny morning in Melbourne’s east end results in amazing light that lights up pockets around the Old Treasury Building and the Premier’s Office.

If you need advice on getting the best out of your @vicmarriageregistry wedding, drop me a follow, check out my reels and my range of articles that are linked in bio. Couple having photos on their wedding day on the grand staircase in Hotel Windsor Melbourne

One of our favourite elements of wedding photography is finding unique locations for casual couples portraits.
We both grew up in Melbourne and love the suburbs, city and bars, restaurants and streets.

There’s now a section on the website dedicated to Melbs, under the film photography tab x

When planning a wedding timeline, be sure to include these 7 tips.

You haven’t likely planned a wedding before, but do lean on your suppliers that see events week in, week out to give advice. When you post on Facebook groups, you often get only a one-sided reply from someone that might not know your full situation. Venue, location, wedding party side, getting ready location, time of year etc.

When you book wedding photography coverage from elopements to full day and even international weddings with me, I am open to working with you to get the best out of your day and our time together. Couple posing in sun beam inside a French castle
