This weekend, it’s the Race To Mackinac. The world’s largest annual offshore race with 260 entries going 333 stature miles...and it all started in 1898. Keep your eyes to Lake Michigan on Friday afternoon and on Saturday in the middle of the day from the Chicago shoreline.

A restoration that meant more than just a detail 🤍⚓️

This 1992 Rinker Captiva 206 — “Bonus Time” — came to us with years of memories built into every inch of it. After many medical procedures and life challenges, this boat became a place where unforgettable moments were made with family and friends.

Bringing “Bonus Time” back wasn’t just about restoring fiberglass and bringing back the shine — it was about bringing back a piece of those memories.

We gave her the full treatment:
• Full interior & exterior restoration
• Deep clean & protection of all surfaces
• 2-step paint/gel coat correction
• Gtechniq Marine ceramic coating protection to lock in the finish

Every project has a story. This one was special. ⚓️✨

Is Chicago the next sauna capital of the US? 🧖‍♂️🧖‍♀️🔥

We just spent a week there at The Windy City Boat and Yacht Show and we’re calling it now. Chicago is going to be the next great sauna city in the United States.

We’ve watched this pattern before in states like Minnesota, New York, and Michigan. A city reaches a certain point of cultural readiness, the right people start asking the right questions, and then it moves fast.

Chicago is at that point.

Our team spent the better part of last week sitting down with past clients, future clients, homeowners, entrepreneurs, and some of the most talented design professionals in the city. The conversations weren’t about whether sauna belongs in their lives. That question is already answered. The conversations were about how to do it right and how it fits into the way they want to live.

Chicago is full of people who are overscheduled, overstimulated and spending more time behind a screen than they ever intended to.

They’re craving something real.

A place to step away from technology, reconnect with the people around them and come back to themselves.

Our friends at @lostlanguagesauna are already answering that call, giving Chicago a true third place where guests can gather, slow down and actually be present with each other. With a full brick and mortar space coming this fall, watch what they’re building.

The people we met last week aren’t looking for just any old sauna.

They want something beautiful, something built with real craft that holds up year after year and becomes a genuine part of how their families and businesses thrive.

Chicago is next.

Get started with a sauna consultation at the link in our bio.

Show by day, Chicago River by night. 🌆🌊

Safe to say the @jeffersonbeachyachtsales team knows how to do a weekend on the water. Still reliving an unforgettable weekend in the Windy City.

Chicago gave us the backdrop and we brought the cameras 🌆🎥

PMC Media Group was on-site at Burnham Harbor capturing the Windy City Boat Show through cinematography and photography, documenting the moments that made the event more than just a weekend on the water.

Some events happen but others deserve to be remembered, so we’re proud to help capture the moments that keep them alive long after the experience is over.

That’s a wrap Chicago. 🚤

What a weekend! The inaugural Windy City Yacht & Boat Show brought out the boats, the builders, and the people who make this industry what it is.

Here’s something I believe in: we ALL need to support boat shows both the new ones AND the ones that have been around for years. It was a great way to visit Chicago, have meetings, and support our industry’s newest show.

Congratulations to Informa and the Windy City Boat & Yacht Show on an incredible inaugural event. You set the bar high.

Thank you Chicago. It was real. 💃⛵️🚤🛥️⚓️
