Last week we had the honor of hosting Women Investing in Nebraska (WIN) for an evening of connection and conversation.

With 100+ women in the room, it was a powerful reminder of the talent, leadership, and investment shaping Nebraska’s future.

That kind of leadership is what moves Nebraska forward and it’s something we’re proud to reflect within our own firm. Smith Pauley is 1/3 female owned, a testament to the strength of leaders making a meaningful impact in our community.

We are proud to be part of WIN and to host a group of women doing incredible work across our state.

2025… you were a YEAR.

Traveled to places pretty enough to frame.
Married the love of my life — peak highlight.
Left beautiful Nebraska and moved to Pittsburgh because why not do every life change at once?!
Made new friends, found a new church, and built a whole new community from the ground up.
Bought our first home — a cozy beginning we’re so grateful for.
Closed a job that meant a lot. Stepping into a new one that will stretch and challenge me in all the exciting ways.
Spent time on college campuses investing in young women — my favorite kind of energy.
Delivered a national keynote — an honor I’ll never take lightly.

Through it all, God has been faithful — the author, the steady hand, the One in full control guiding every chapter. Praise God for the many ways he protects, provides and heals🤍

When 300+ women come together, ranging from their 20s-90s, and collectively give, incredible philanthropic impact occurs.

In the past two years, WIN has:
✨Awarded $465,436 in grants to deserving Nebraska projects.
✨Hosted over 25 events.
✨Welcomed 185 new women into our collective giving community.

Congratulations to our 2024 grant recipients:
University of Nebraska Medical Center - UNMC College of Nursing: Developing new training initiatives.
Foster Care Closet - Mobile Closet Program: Supporting the purchase of new clothes and a vehicle to expand their mission statewide.

I consider it a complete honor to work alongside these dynamic and philanthropic women. Cheers to growing a community of givers and multiplying impact across the state!
