🚨 SURPRISE FINALE 🚨
I saved the best Napa experience for last… lunch on a MOVING TRAIN 🚂🍷

3 courses, wine pairings, vineyards rolling past your window- this is the Napa Valley Wine Train and it did NOT feel real 😭✨

What I ate:
• Wild mushroom risotto - creamy perfection
• Carrot soup with roasted carrot peel - sounds simple, tastes FANCY
• Gold-leaf dessert. GOLD. LEAF. 🤯 “THE SHOW STOPPER”‼️

White tablecloths, zero rush, golden views the whole ride. Main-character energy from start to finish 💅

Would YOU do lunch on a train? Comment below👇

A little date day with my husband aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train. 🤍
One of my favorite parts of being a wedding planner is discovering experiences that couples can enjoy together beyond the wedding day itself.
I’m always looking for those little moments that feel special: a beautiful setting, an incredible meal, an experience you wouldn’t have every day, or simply an opportunity to slow down and enjoy being together.
So when I get the chance to experience something myself, I pay attention.
What did we love?
What made the experience memorable?
What would I recommend to a couple?
And most importantly, what would make this feel special for them?
Because planning celebrations isn’t only about creating beautiful weddings. It’s about knowing how to create meaningful experiences.
And sometimes, the best research looks a lot like a date day. 🥂🤍
Thank you @winetrain for such a beautiful experience.

A nostalgic Christmas train ride, straight out of a fairytale. 🚂❄️✨

Real Moments, Reimagined · Vol. 6 — Christmas Fairytale Train

Every year, I love the idea of taking a Christmas train ride like @winetrain or The Polar Express, but somehow the holidays fly by before we get around to it.

So I imagined our own Christmas train adventure, with cozy vintage seats, warm lights, and a snowy castle outside the window. 🥹

Maybe this year we’ll finally make it onto a real one! 🎄

Tools I used:
✨ ChatGPT: image creation + world building
🎬 Seedance 2.5 in OpenArt: AI video generation
✂️ Premiere Pro: editing

As always, I share my prompts, creative process, and tips from what I’ve learned along the way in my free prompt library. ✨ Link in bio.

ONE MONTH INTO 40!!!

And if this is what 40 feels like, I want MORE of it!!

More JOY. More adventures. More laughs. More celebrating the people I love. More slowing down to soak in the little moments. More saying YES to the things that make my soul SHINE.

This new decade isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about embracing ALL of who I am, how far I’ve come, and the beautiful life I get to keep creating.

40, you’ve already been pretty MAGICAL. And we’re just getting started!!!!!!

San Francisco & Napa with @frenchye69 …priceless!
We rode the historic trolley down to @fishermanswharf.

Had amazing wine tasting at some small local wineries such as @loxtoncellars and took the @winetrain to @grgichhills vineyards.

It was a vacation more than 8 months in the making, but so memorable!

A birthday lunch with Napa Valley rolling past our window 🚂🍷

We celebrated Sharad’s birthday aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train’s **Gourmet Express Lunch**—a 3-hour luxury journey with historic railcars, scenic vineyard views and a delicious 3-course meal, freshly prepared in the onboard kitchens.

Between bites, onboard commentary shared stories about Napa Valley and the wineries along the route. Such a lovely way to experience wine country together! 🍇

Here’s what our family ate:
🥗 Roasted Beet Salad & Fresh Fruit Platter
🍝 Penne Primavera, Seasonal Risotto & Ricotta Cheese Gnocchi
🍫 Sorbet Trio & Chocolate Lava Cake—with a birthday candle, of course! 🎂

📍 Napa Valley Wine Train
1275 McKinstry Street, Napa, CA 94559
🚂 Experience: Gourmet Express Lunch
⏰ Approximately 3 hours
🌱 Vegetarian/Non Vegetarian options available; menus change seasonally.

🎅 Planning a holiday outing with the kids? Their **Santa Train Jolly Journeys** offers festive experiences with Santa, cookies and cocoa! Check the Wine Train website for dates, packages and availability.

Save this for your next celebration & send it to someone you’d take aboard! 🥂

Polka dots, scenic tracks, and celebrating my love @_itschristy1 ‘s birthday in style! 🥂✨ Not only did Christy come up with the most fire paint-and-sip idea at @elkhornpeak , but making these memories with family before closing out our California chapter was everything. Next stop... 🚂🍷🤍

ad All aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train! 🍇🚂 Kicking off our honeymoon road trip around California in Napa Valley to experience the world-class vineyards and family-owned wineries from the comfort of a restored Pullman 1100 dining car! A 3 course Gourmet Express multi-course menu made with local produce from the vines, farmlands and Pacific Coast coupled with a curated selection of new-world wines produced in Napa Valley.

A full video of the Napa Valley Wine Train experience to come but here are a few photo/video highlights that has me and P beaming from cheek to cheek and what we’ll be showing our future family (if we’re lucky enough to have children one day!) what mum and dad got up to…

A HUGEEEEEE thank you @visitcalifornia @downtownnapa and @winetrain for the most incredible, magical and special experience to celebrate love in all forms and our honeymoon!

The fanciest way to go winery hopping in Napa Valley... without ever driving! 🚂🍷

If you’re planning a trip to Napa Valley, California, you HAVE to add the Napa Valley Wine Train to your bucket list!

This unique experience takes you through the heart of California Wine Country aboard beautifully restored vintage train cars. It’s such a great way to explore multiple Napa Valley wineries without having to coordinate transportation.

There are several @winetrain experiences to choose from, but we booked the six-hour Legacy Experience, which included:

🚂 Scenic train ride: Depart from Downtown Napa and travel through the beautiful vineyards
🍽️ Four-course dining: Enjoy multiple courses throughout your journey, including breakfast, lunch, cheese, and dessert, all prepared onboard
📸 Napa Valley Welcome Sign: Stop for photos at the iconic sign and enjoy a wine tasting in the train’s open-air observation car
🍷 Charles Krug Winery: Visit Napa Valley’s oldest winery, established in 1861, for a guided tasting inside its historic Redwood Cellar
🍇 V. Sattui Winery: Enjoy another seated wine tasting at this beautiful winery in St. Helena, with time to explore the property
🥂 Wine tastings included: Enjoy approximately 11 wine pours throughout the experience, including tastings onboard and at both wineries!
