Get up today or tomorrow morning .Get up on a Monday morning your rather be sleeping in😅🤣 then having to go touch grass at 8:30am in the morning 🌄 but we got through it because God keeps continuing to praises you throughout your life. Considered this my workout for the soul of God continues to keep us WOKE before TRUMPETS 🎺 blows even at the Crack of dawn. 😆🤭 But I really love the energy that the football ✨️🏈 team brings to us being my favorite giving the same amount of respect and team spirit that we bring to them on the field. Its only Day 4 of Band Camp we are just getting started. 📣🏈🏟🤍🫶

Like J Cole says I get up because we got a life to look forward to and we got a lot more days to come. Like or not one way or another. We thrive with purpose not for perfection. Either way let keep it 💯. LET'S GET IT BULLDOGS 💙💛🤍🫶🐶.

We were challenged by @sonorthamerica to host an Awareness Day that promotes Special Olympics at Wingate. We thought about it and realized there’s no better way to spread awareness than inviting 600+ athletes to campus!

Wingate University was proud to host (for the 1st time) the Special Olympics Union County Spring Games on April 14th & 15th. We saw 230 elementary students on Day 1 and 378 Middle/High School/Adult athletes on Day 2.

Wingate students and staff were involved at every level of making this event a success. From coordinating Volunteers, organizing Opening Ceremonies, acting as Lead Officials, running Awards, creating the Olympic Town and keeping everyone Safe— our university didn’t just host the games, we lived them!

A huge shoutout to Chris Kiser (Slide 7)! Chris is heading to the Special Olympics USA Games this June to compete in Unified Bocce. We were honored to recognize his incredible achievement during Opening Ceremonies.

Your turn, Bulldogs: Unified Sports is all about competing together and building a campus where everyone belongs. DM us right now to join our team!

Did you know? All 30 of our Wingate teams receive financial support from Bulldog Club members! 💙

When you join the Bulldog Club, your support goes directly to the team of your choice, or to the Bulldog Athletics Fund, which meets our athletes’ greatest needs. Plus, members receive special benefits based on your membership level.

We also love bringing our Bulldog Club family together! One of the ways we say thank you is through our pre-game football hospitality tent, where members gather to share a meal, connect with fellow Bulldogs, and celebrate Wingate pride.

We’re so grateful for our Bulldog Club community of alumni, friends, and fans from all over who share one goal: supporting our student-athletes on and off the field.

From the first downbeat in the stands to the last chord at halftime, Spirit of the Gate kept the stadium alive. They always bring the energy with stand tunes, halftime shows, and plenty of Bulldog spirit to go around! 💛💙

We’ve had a great start to the semester and are looking forward to Spring Break next week! This is one of our newest ensembles, the Jazz Band, playing as a part of the Wind Ensemble Concert last Monday. Great job, musicians!

FORWARD/STILL for the Wingate University Wind Ensemble ft. the music of Omar Thomas :)

I’ve been really into shades of browns lately. Also wanted to play around more with silhouettes and the idea of breaking away from classical music but still connected in some parts for inspiration.
