Five tournament wins. A SAC championship. A national runner-up finish. Now, Wingate men’s golf returns with unfinished business. ⛳🔥

Honorable mention All-American Mattia D’Errico leads a group of eight returners that also includes Max Drott, Alex Alder and senior Matthew Wordon. German freshman Tito von Hessen adds international experience after placing third at the 2026 Triple A Series World Final.

The roster may look different, but Wordon describes this team as “hungry, underestimated and ready to compete.”‼️

This week we’re heading to @wingategolf !💥

Based in North Carolina, Wingate combines a close-knit campus experience with one of the leading NCAA Division II golf programs in the country!⛳️

The Bulldogs enjoyed an incredible 2025-26 season, becoming SAC champions before going all the way to the National Championship final!🏆

Flying the S&PA flag at Wingate is @alexaldergolf , who is now entering his second year with the Bulldogs and continuing his US college journey!🇬🇧🇺🇸

With access to quality golf facilities and a programme competing at the very highest level of DII golf, Wingate is another great example of the opportunities throughout the divisions in collegiate golf. 🔥👊
