Two years with our sweet, derpy Freddie! We knew then that getting a third kitten looked like insane behavior (because it truly was) but this guy brought balance in ways we could never have predicted. Bowie needed this guy. And Stevie needed a punching bag who could dish it right back (she still kinda hates Fred, but who can blame her for having feminine rage, you know?)... Freddie wins the wrestling matches and thinks everyone's having the best time; he still doesn't seem to understand that she hates him. 😆

He purrs the loudest, communes with the spirits, tries to steal bread from the fridge, and chases every glimmer of light that crosses his path. He's genuinely the BEST lap cat and the sweetest boy in all the land. The best orange cat who isn't actually orange, and we love him so much. Happy gotcha day, Freddie my love!

Happy Birthday to my Gemini! Josh has the kindest soul, the most curious brain, the most boisterous laugh, and such a beautiful ability to see potential and heart in everyone he meets. He's always down for a new adventure, and he's also a lovely person to have deep conversations and ponder life with. He's ridiculously talented, and works so hard, and deserves every good thing under the sun.

Grateful to be celebrating the adventure buddy who makes friends with all the animals, keeps music in our home, makes people feel so seen, and keeps life fun. @winksua I love you! ❤️

Two years since this magical little dude joined our party!

Bowie is made of pure chaos and stardust, and loves love more than any cat I've ever known. His zoomies are epic, he loves to wrastle his siblings, and he tries to eat everything he shouldn't, but he also can't get through a day without cuddling someone (or chirping at them from atop the fridge, begging for a headbutt). He's the glue that holds our trio of tabbies together, and we love him so much. 🖤 Happy gotcha day, Bowie!

Today marks two years since this sweet and squeaky little fairy came into our lives! She's a sassy queen, an artiste (see the paper towels...) and a snuggly little baby who changed our lives for the better. Happy gotcha day, Stevie!

February said "in case you think you've got this cat parent thing figured out, no you don't." (February also said "Bowie's going to be fine, he's just going to eat different food and rock a shaved butt and tail for a while 💅🏻 it's a LOOK).

What a month. There were cookies and flowers and heights that wuthered... There were rehearsals and derpy cats, wanderings and a Bridgerton breakfast date. A nibling coming home after two years away. A lunch date with friends that now has me anxious and excited to put more art into the world!

I have an unfortunate habit of seeing the negative more readily than the positive (probably as a protective measure... Millennials are TIRED, y'all). But in spite of the negatives and the curveballs, there were some good things happening, and good people all around me. And there are still three very insane cats living with me, who are doing just fine. ❤️
