Today was a great Monday morning. Mom and dad took me for a walk around the lake at Belmont Lake State Park. The fall colors were pawtastic!! The downfall was that I still couldn’t get dad to take a picture of me…mom had to do it again. He has no photos of me on his phone that he’s taken…actually he has very few photos of anyone!!! I guess that puts me in detention for #mygrumpysparepics Sorry @winniejeanbeagle

Happy Frosted Face Friday from me and cousin Scout. Here I was hanging out by the minis highchairs waiting for some Cheerios to drop 🤞.
Early voting in Texas today. This is a big election in Texas where many are hoping for change. A blue wave would be awesome, there are some great candidates this year. Vote Blue! #ginahinojosa #talerico #frostedfacefriday #grumpybeaglesunited #voteblue

Hi Friends, it's been ages since you have seen Fred or me because we have THE WORST social media manager on IG. How bad? Well, I turned 11 on August 8th and she forgot to post my birthday. It is my 11th Gotcha Day today, so, I took matters into my own hands. Henry James ❤️

Mom here: Not to make excuses for my lack of posting, but the day after Henry James birthday he and Fred decided to have orthopedic setbacks on the same day, requiring two months crate rest and visits to Fred's neurosurgeon and Henry 's orthopedic surgeon. Fred had what looked like an IVDD relapse, unable to walk, hence the new wagon pictured. Henry injured his left back leg and limped on front and back legs while shaking all over. Of course by the time our appointments arrived, Fred miraculously recovered, and Henry showed no sign of a limp at his surgeon visit. However, it appears that he may have a second TPLO surgery , and the overall weakness in his legs is increased arthritis from knee surgeries. They are still acting like hounds, so chaos abounds in Santa Fe.

In other news, my husband , Dennis, first novel Being AI, launched on Amazon on October 6th. It's a timely thriller about life with AI. Check it out. It's available in hardback and Kindle.

Question: I know that several cultures read from right to left. But in the fifth photo, Fred is reading upside-down and right to left. He is 50% basset, so is this a basset trait?

I hope you are enjoying autumn. We are in winter temps some nights. Stay well, dear Friends. 😘

I had to snitch on Bob 😡 K was in the bathroom, so I went there and barked loudly. She immediately realized Bob was up to some mischief again and hurried out. In just five minutes he had managed to destroy two of OUR treat puzzles 🤬🤷🏻‍♀️
He claims it was the neighbor’s cat 🙀 and that he was actually trying to put the puzzles back together 😇🐶 (could have been true, because that pesky cat was a menace even back when I was a puppy) BUT this time I saw him 👀, and these were MY puzzles too! 😤😤
I'm quite sure it was the cat who managed to pull down the big kitchen knife!!! 😱 and some metal molds from the kitchen counter this morning though. K nearly fainted when she caught Bob in the act of "fixing" the knife.
➡️➡️ Swipe to see the disaster... Soon we won’t have a single thing without teeth marks in this house!
Now we’re resting—as you can see.

No regrets 😁😁 /Bob

This week, at #grumpsterschool, my suggested topic #mygrumpyalbum got picked. Is 20 a high number? When you have over 1,000 photos (in my Humama’s current phone) to choose from, then this is just an easy-peasy HW. Hope to see your albums to pick my personal favorites. Have a great week, grucru!

It’s back-to-school Monday after the holidays and I’m learning how to look after Mamarazzi, just like Gary did in his day, and this guide to looking after your human is proving really useful for figuring out how to live with my two-legged companion, who’s very hard to tame •Luna•

#mygrumpybookreport @winniejeanbeagle @henriettathebeagle @duncandazzle

Do you like reading? Have you ever devoured a book? Do your humans read books to you?

We’ve been on holiday – if we’ve missed anything important, please share it with us

Mom, will you please read a children’s book to me? We were babysitting the granddaughters this weekend and picked some books to read since it’s my #grumpsterhomeworkassignment This week, my bestie WJ @winniejeanbeagle wants a book report on my favorite book. The minis are especially fond of the Spot books where you lift the flap to find Spot. I like that he has a mischievous streak! #spotbooksarethebest #mygrumpybookreport #grumpsterschool #grumpybeaglesunited @henriettathebeagle @duncandazzle
