Handwriting is about so much more than putting pencil to paper! ✏️

Delighted to share my contribution to WIRED Middle East’s latest article, “Handwriting Still Has Something to Teach Kids.”

In a world where children are increasingly comfortable navigating screens, are we overlooking the importance of climbing, building, drawing and exploring through hands-on experiences?

It’s not necessarily that children’s hands are getting weaker, but that the variety of experiences supporting their development may be narrowing.

Technology has an important place in learning. It’s about finding the right balance! 🌱

Prosecutors have released a still image from a surveillance video that they say shows Saudi national Abdulrahman Alfozan, 35, looking behind a monitor where an audio recording device was placed.

According to a criminal complaint unsealed on Tuesday, Alfozan, 35, concealed a recording device in a piece of toilet paper and attached it to a monitor inside an executive conference room in one of OpenAI’s San Francisco offices.

Neither prosecutors nor OpenAI have provided information about a potential motive, but FBI director Kash Patel said Alfozan aimed to capture information about the company’s “super intelligence technology.”

Alfozan is due back in federal court on October 19.

Ask anyone what AI costs and they will tell you 20 dollars a month. Ask what it runs on and they will say the cloud. Both answers are wrong.

What is Contextual intelligence? Believe it or not lLMs like Claude and ChatGPT, Gemini, just to name a few, don't actually have the intelligence or the ability to distinguish between what a word is being used in which particular context. We talk about context windows but think of that as the size of your landfill of information, which may or may not make sense. A lot of it is generated noise.

If LLMs truly did understand context, it would not become a precursor to why AIs need to hallucinate when it doesn't know anything because it's "lacking context." We here at Nucleus AI and the AI Brain Company are actually working on this particular problem with a combination of research, deployed government pilots, and now a consumer option which easily plugs into your existing ChatGPT, Claude, Deep Seek, or any other AI hosted or self-hosted that supports "an MCP connection."
