🥒🫑 Cucumbers & Green Peppers — Ayurveda in Your Plate - Fresh from the Garden From an Ayurvedic perspective, both cucumber and green pepper are refreshing, light, and hydrating foods—but they can affect each dosha differently. 🥒 Cucumber • Cooling, hydrating and refreshing • Can help balance Pitta, especially in warm weather • Because of its cooling and watery qualities, too much may increase Vata or dampen Agni in some people • Best enjoyed with warming spices when digestion is weak 🫑 Green Pepper • Light, fresh and slightly stimulating • Can be supportive for Kapha when prepared with warming spices • In excess, raw green peppers may aggravate Vata, especially if digestion is sensitive • Pitta should observe how spicy or stimulating preparations affect them 🔥 How to support Agni If you love these cooling vegetables but want to keep your digestive fire strong, try pairing them with: ✨ Fresh ginger ✨ Cumin ✨ Coriander ✨ Fennel ✨ Black pepper ✨ A little ghee or sesame oil ✨ Cooking rather than eating large amounts raw 🌿 Ayurvedic tip: When Agni is low, favor warm, cooked meals and digestive spices rather than making a large raw salad the center of your meal. Ayurveda is not about avoiding foods—it is about learning how, when, and with what to eat them so they support your unique constitution and current state of digestion. 🔥 Nourish your Agni. Nourish your vitality. #Ayurveda #Agni #Doshas #Vata #Pitta #Kapha #AyurvedicNutrition #Cucumber #GreenPepper #DigestiveFire #AyurvedicLifestyle #SoulHeartYoga #atmachanankaur #soulheartycoaching #soulheartyogaacademy

🇮🇳✨ My time in India will always remain in my heart. There are places that you visit, and there are places that become part of your soul. India has been that place for me. ❤️ And Anandpur Sahib, the home of spirituality at Kesgarh Gurdwara, holds a very special place in my heart. Also the home of Guru Gobindh Singh who fought many battles for religious freedom. And Mai Bhago, who stood by him, warrioress who defended the Guruji or Higher Consciousness so that today we can feel their presence in our lives 🙏🏽✨ These kids can enjoy a day of kirtan and reverence today thanks to these higher souls who brought so much consciousness to this planet. Grateful for them, for the sacred energy, the history, the prayers, the people, and the deep sense of devotion that all these blessings have left on me --an imprint that I will carry wherever I go. Some journeys end, but their essence stays with us 🇮🇳❤️ #India #AnandpurSahib #TakhtSriKesgarhSahib #Gurdwara #SpiritualJourney #SacredPlaces #KundaliniYoga #DivineFeminine #Gratitude #IndiaWillAlwaysBeInMyHeart#atmachanankaur #soulheartyogaacademy

🌕🔥 FULL HARVEST MOON IN ARIES 🔥🌕 Today we welcome the Full Harvest Moon in Aries — a powerful moment to pause, reflect, gather what has grown, and release what no longer needs to come with us into the next cycle and season. 🌾✨ Aries brings the energy of selfhood, courage, vitality and new beginnings. This Full Moon invites us to ask: ✨ What am I ready to claim? ✨ Where have I been giving my energy away? ✨ What needs to be released so I can move forward with greater clarity? ✨ What does my body need from me right now? 🌕 From a Divine Feminine perspective, receiving ourselves fully is also an act of power. We don't always need to push, achieve or prove. Sometimes our deepest transformation comes through listening, softening and allowing. 🌿 Ayurvedic reminder: As we transition into a new season, warm, nourishing and grounding practices can help us stay connected to ourselves and support Vata. 🔥 Kundalini practice: Use this Full Moon as a time for conscious breath, meditation, movement and intention. Let the practice bring you back to your center. Tonight, place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Breathe. Honor what you have harvested. Release what has completed its cycle. And make space for what is ready to emerge. 🌕🌿 Sat Nam. #FullMoon #HarvestMoon #FullMoonInAries #DivineFeminine #KundaliniYoga #Ayurveda #Vata #SelfLove #MoonRitual #SacredFeminine #Meditation #SatNam #SoulHeartYogaAcademy #atmachanankaur

🥥🌿 TRIDOSHIC COCONUT LENTIL STEW 🌿🥕 A warm, nourishing bowl that is especially grounding for Vata and supportive for building Kapha—while remaining balanced for all three doshas when enjoyed in moderation. ✨ Ingredients • 1 cup red lentils • 1 carrot, chopped • 1 small potato, cubed • ½ cup coconut milk • 3 cups water or vegetable broth • 1 tbsp ghee or coconut oil • ½ tsp cumin • ½ tsp coriander • ¼ tsp turmeric • A small pinch of ginger • Salt to taste • Fresh cilantro, optional 🥣 Method Rinse the lentils well. Warm the ghee or oil and gently sauté the spices until aromatic. Add the carrot, potato and lentils. Add the water or broth and simmer for about 20–25 minutes, until everything is soft. Stir in the coconut milk during the last few minutes. Adjust the spices and salt, and finish with fresh cilantro. 🌙 Ayurvedic wisdom 🔥 For Vata: Warm, soft, moist and gently spiced foods help create grounding, stability and comfort. 🌱 For Kapha: Lentils and nourishing root vegetables provide satisfying nourishment, while warming spices support digestive fire. 🌿 For all doshas: Keep the spices gentle and the coconut milk moderate for a comforting, balanced meal. ✨ A bowl of warmth. A moment of grounding. A way to nourish from within. #Ayurveda #Tridoshic #Vata #Kapha #AyurvedicCooking #AyurvedicFood #Grounding #Nourishment #LentilStew #CoconutMilk #AyurvedaLifestyle #SoulHeartYogaAcademy #kapha #vata #groundng

🌿 GROUNDING VATA 🌿 No matter your dosha or constitution, we can all experience a Vata imbalance. When Vata is elevated, grounding, warm, nourishing foods can help bring us back to center. Add your favorite herbs and ghee, and 35 min in the oven will do the triick.🤎 🍠 Roasted sweet potatoes + carrots make a beautiful grounding meal — warm, naturally sweet, nourishing and comforting. 🥒 Pair them with a smaller salad of lettuce and cucumber for freshness and balance, rather than making the raw portion of the meal the main component. ✨ In Ayurveda, grounding is not only about what we eat, but also about creating warmth, nourishment, routine and a sense of stability in the body and mind. 🌙 Slow down. Nourish. Ground. ✨ AYURVEDIC GHEE STEP BY STEP - GOLDEN OIL OF LIFE ✨ 🧈 Step 1 — Start with butter Use unsalted, preferably organic butter. Place it in a heavy-bottomed pan over low heat. 🔥 Step 2 — Let it melt Allow the butter to gently melt and begin to simmer. Don’t rush the process. 🌿 Step 3 — Clarify The water evaporates and the milk solids separate. A gentle golden aroma begins to develop. 🥄 Step 4 — Strain When the ghee becomes golden at the bottom, you may lower the heat and take the white residue that builds at the top with a spoon. When done, remove from heat. You may also strain through a fine cloth or sieve. ✨ Step 5 — Store & enjoy Pour into a clean, dry glass jar. Let it cool and solidify. 🌞 Ayurvedic tip: Ghee is traditionally valued for supporting digestion, nourishment and ojas (vital essence). Enjoy it mindfully as part of your daily nourishment for cooking, as a salad dressong, or for pasta, toast, and rice. 💛 Simple. Golden. Nourishing. #Ayurveda #AyurvedicCooking #Ghee #GheeRecipe #AyurvedicLifestyle #Ojas #AyurvedicNutrition #MindfulEating #KundaliniYoga #YogaAndAyurveda #SoulHeartYogaAcademy #atmachanankaur
