Why do we retreat? Retreats allow us to step away from our daily responsibilities and reflect on our life. ‘Time’ being a huge thing most of crave, in order to just be still, sip coffee, taste our food, physically rest, physically stretch and tone our mind and body at the start and end of the day. To connect with others who long for the same: Day dreaming, hot tubbing, sun salutations, pamper filling, possible ice ….bath…dipping…! The slow stepping and “what book are you reading” … conversations… the time for milling…. When do you get to mill about these days?! Escape with us: contact gwixley80@gmail.com for more information on our final room. #yogaaddict #yogatravel #yogafit #yogafun #yogaphotography #yogaholiday #nature #retreats #healing #love #yogatime #yogapants #yogaforlife #retreatyourself #yogateachertraining #selflove #yogini #hathayoga #yogamom #namaste #ayurveda #healthylifestyle #relax #wellbeing # #yinyoga #yogafam #yogaasana #fitness #yogainstructor @thehouseofboheme.retreat

💖 Sisterhood Wounds 💖⁣ ⁣ One thing I’ve worked on this last year is my connection to other women. ⁣ ⁣ My life has been overflowing with female friends since I high school / college but I haven’t found it easy to fully trust other women and to really ‘let them in’ as I’ve got older. ⁣ ⁣ This will be a surprise to many of my friends as we feel super close, but I’ve realised there’s been a layer of protection that I’ve learned to keep in place and I don’t always show up as vulnerably as I could. ⁣ ⁣ It comes down to feeling hurt, betrayed and let down by friends growing up and as a young adult. ⁣ I just didn’t have the tools to navigate it properly at the time so probably internalised close friendships as risky or unsafe. ⁣ ⁣ There’s a deeper level of connection available if we just lean in to it. It’s not always easy but it provides the foundation for healthy, fulfilling relationships where everyone thrives. ⁣ ⁣

WE AREN’T TAUGHT THIS… In traditional education, we’re taught the mechanics of how to read, write, & speak... In self-development courses, we are taught how to connect with ourselves... But there’s something missing. Knowing how to bridge the CONNECTION we have to ourselves with the OUTSIDE WORLD. What I mean is - you might have done a lot of self development work & feel deeply connected to your intuition & truth. 🤔 But because you’ve never learned how to express yourself effectively, all that self-connection work is not helping you connect with others. We aren't taught how to express ourselves to create healing & harmony in our relationships... ...how to transform conflict to connection.  ...how to be understood more deeply. ...how to listen with love. …how to express your needs, desires & truth. & the difference between masculine & feminine communication. >>><<< 🔥 THE GAME CHANGER in my relationships was learning how to communicate my truth, needs, desires, difficulties, & thoughts in harmonious ways. Whether it is with your intimate partner or your family... ...there are specific ways that you are communicating that you don't even realize are leading to misunderstandings, challenges, & disconnection.  👉My Art of Communication Online Course is READY for you! This is your last day to get it for the pre-sale 50% off price!! You get INSTANT access & have this 6-week recorded program to do at your own pace. Rather than reactive communication, creating confusion, arguments, hurt, & blame...   Learn how to embody responsive, conscious communication...   Explore our you can meet one another, through understanding key communication techniques, as well as the interplay between masculine & feminine dynamics.
