What a day 🥰 The annual Motherboard Family Affair event today was fullllllllll. So full in fact, I barely got any photos 😭 but it’s always a ball when we get together hunny.

Being part of the Motherboard has shifted my perspective for the better on what sisterhood & working together looks like. These women are the epitome of work hard, play hard, love, support, hype & encourage hard.

The amount of growth we’ve all experienced together is incredible. It actually should be studied 😆

I’ve seen mamas BLOSSOM over the course of two years, including myself. The power of collective support, friendship & opportunity is incredible.

Thank you @liberationbydesign for bringing us all together & continuing to pour into this work of uplifting mama into leaders. Mama Diamond ya’ll! 🏆😍🎉 we love you

If you’re interested in joining the motherboard & you’re pregnant or postpartum within 5 years, applications open in November.

Visit Motherboardca.org and subscribe to our mailing list to keep up to date when applications open.

One of the best decisions I’ve made 🤎

Thank you again @christian423 for trusting me to take photos of the @lpacnupes event. It was a pleasure to see so much black excellence and representation in one room around many familiar faces.

🙌 I had such a great time on my staff girls trip plus my other friend came also! 💕 It was so cool getting to hang out with my coworkers and old friend outside of work, enjoy real quality time together, and get to know each other better. 🥰 From learning about their families, to seeing everyone out of their shells, to just doing life together outside of the workplace it was truly special. 🌸✨

Most of the time at work, as we’re doing our job and being with the kids we don’t get to know each other intimately ⏰💼 But this cruise gave us a chance to bond, laugh, and grow as a team in such a fun and unique way. 🚢💖 Definitely one of my favorite cruises in the last 4 years, and I’m so thankful & honored to have shared it with such amazing women! 🙌🌊

To all the new friends I met on the ship you guys are AMAZING! 🌟 Keep doing great things and continue being fantastic. 🙌 I always love making cruise friends and meeting new people 💕🌍. And of course, it was so cool hanging out with my coworkers and old friend too. 🥂💛

some shots I took at the zoo. (Slides 2, 3 & 4 are my fav + came across the prettiest little flower). Even though I had a good time because I love animals - after a while I couldn’t help but notice everything in its entirety. Just by the look on some of their faces, I began to wonder how they really feel being there. Is it truly a sanctuary? Is their welfare and conditions being fairly considered? I hope so.

repost: if you saw the last post, no you didn’t 😉

Thank you @giftedreleasetherapy for hosting Three Hart Connection for Release Therapy! Yoga with @magicmelaninmama then boxing with @ayindelove_ and concluding with the release circle- this is one of the best things we've been part of! We cannot wait to come back! Mental wellness and physical fitness are 2/3 of the pillars our organization is built on. We encourage our followers and supporters to constantly work on themselves in these areas as its healing and keep you in a constant state of self awareness. 💚💚💚
