I’m still trying to find the words to describe KTKR. It felt like a whole fever dream, but I’m so happy and so so so so so proud of everyone who participated. I did so much. From start to finish I set up this event, handpicked who I wanted to be there, sang my heart out and showed you the songs and the words that mean the most to me. I picked up guitar and piano again for this, and even though I was scared, I did my best. Even though I don’t feel like I can call myself an idol, I feel like I’m getting closer. I learned a whole lot! And I want to learn a whole lot more! I want to keep performing and get better and better, until you won’t even recognize me in a couple years!

I’ll never forget this. To anyone who showed their face, cheered, sang along, even if you couldn’t stay until the end, thank you.

17 oktober organiseerde @backstagealchemist de KTKR multi-live show met Japanse optredens met zang en dans

Van jouw favoriete anime songs naar J-pop bangers en vocaloid classics. Echt een moment voor onze locale Kaigai Idols om de stage bij Astrant over te nemen

Met de aanwezigheid van deze Japanse cultuur kwamen er zelfs bezoekers in cosplay naar het event. De zaal kleurde rood, roze, wit en regenboog met penlights, en er werd hardop gechant!

THANK YOU DC !! 🦅🇺🇸🎇
ILLIXCITE participated in two shows last weekend, ANIBeat at Otakon and Plum Valley Vol.0 at Penn Social! Did you catch us at either one? It was an amazing and crazy experience that blew us away.
It`s been 2 years since the last time we were in DC as part of our debut tour. With the long distance nature of our group now, we get worried, "Has everyone forgotten about us? Will they even care?" and you all showed up and showed us the best of the best of the idol and fan spirit that makes us never want to leave. Thank you so much! We hope to return again!
Now that San has gone back to the Netherlands, we are once again in a rest period, but we have some solo lives through the next few months to hold you over! And our next group shows will be in November and December so we hope to see you there and howling with us! 🔥

💙OTAKON 2026💙

This was the best con experience of my life so far.

I literally ran between concerts, festivals, and meetups for four days straight, and loved every second of it, even if it meant I barely slept or ate during that time LOL

On top of that, I got to see my friends from Boston, NJ, and the DMV, moots from Discord and Instagram, and even made new ones on top of that. I PHYSICALLY cannot tag everyone on this post if I wanted to 😭

When I was lucky enough to meet Marmalade at the very end of the con, I told her that idols changed my life. I have never felt a greater sense of purpose since I found myself here, and regardless if I’m performing on stage, cheering in the crowd, or helping behind the scenes, I always feel so fulfilled getting involved with this community. Having conversations like that with her, and similar ones with others this weekend, energizes me to grind even harder on the GAUNTLET of projects that I have coming up 💪

The memories from this con will live with me forever, and I’m so god damn grateful that I got to experience them. I hope that everyone else I saw feels the same, and that we can convince even more people to come to DC next year 🫶
