Witch Fever @witchfever
Arbroath Fest 2026 @arbroathfest
Inchcape Park, Arbroath
Saturday 1st August

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

I was a little bit later down the road than I’d initially planned due to still recovering from my festival frolics the previous week but was chuffed to start my day with Witch Fever. They had a really powerful sound, taking influences from post-punk and heavy rock. You’d have had no trouble locating the festival when they were onstage. The quartet from Manchester were brash and loud, and proudly used their platform to denounce the current state of the world.

Crowd highlight: A hardy cover of Deftone’s ‘My Own Summer (Shove It)’ was a great entry point for first time listeners.

We are so thrilled that @witchfever has joined ROAM!

Manchester quartet create a confrontational racket that takes no prisoners. Refusing to be confined by gender or genre, Witch Fever have always defied expectations as individuals in society. Now, they’ re defying expectations as a band.

The debut album Congregation is the sound of punk without boundaries of any kind, and sophomore release Fevereaten provides the sonically self-assured and aesthetically nimble follow-up. With their signature blend of sludge, punk, and riotous energy, the band continues to carve out a space that is uniquely theirs: raw, feminist, and fiercely unrelenting. It fuses punk ferocity with gothic unease, doom-laden atmospherics and raw vulnerability.

They have many notable support slots under their belt such as My Chemical Romance, IDLES, La Dispute, Poppy, Biffy Clyro, and a 2 month arena tour with Volbeat. The 2026 headline tour sold 3000 tickets across UK and Europe with multiple sold out shows.

"I ended my Friday with Witch Fever, who delivered a gloriously goth-infused punk set, witchy, confrontational and feral."
