What an incredible day to be a Comet! Yesterday was about so much more than sports. It was about bringing our campus and community together, creating memories, celebrating accomplishments, and showing what makes WITCC and Siouxland so special! Our Family Festival was a huge success! From the bounce houses and food trucks to the excitement of competition, it was amazing to see our staff, students, administrators, families, and community come together to support one another. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible! 🏐 Our volleyball program took time to honor their amazing sophomores and celebrate the incredible season they are putting together. Congratulations to these young women, and we wish them continued success the rest of the way! Keep making memories! ⚽ Our men’s soccer team battled in a competitive match that was close throughout. If you know anything about soccer, you know that on any given day, anything can happen. Sometimes the greatest lessons come from the toughest results. Keep your heads up, keep growing, and keep competing. We wish you all the best moving forward! ☄️ We closed out the day’s events with our women’s soccer team taking the field and earning another 8-0 victory! But beyond the scoreboard, it was another opportunity to represent our college, play in front of our community, and create memories that will last long after the final whistle. 📸 Here are some close-up shots of the special moments and memories we created throughout the day! Days like this remind us that we’re building more than athletic programs. We’re building relationships, traditions, opportunities, and a community that supports one another. Thank you, Siouxland! This is YOUR college, YOUR community, and YOUR Comets! 💚☄️

🇧🇷 From ACADE to Western Iowa Tech. Yara Baraldi is officially joining Western Iowa Tech Community College for Spring 2027 to begin her academic and soccer journey in the United States. The Brazilian goalkeeper, with experience at Londrina, earned a great scholarship package to continue her career at the college level. Another great placement completed through the partnership between B9 Global and ACADE, creating a strong opportunity for Yara to develop, compete, and build her future in the U.S. A new chapter starts now, and we’re proud to be part of this journey.
