Happy birthday, Bec! You’re so many things to so many people: teacher, friend, cheerleader, safe place, and the one who’d give us the shirt off your back without a second thought. You’ve built more than a studio. You’ve built a home where people feel seen, strong and a little more like themselves every time they walk through the door. The world is softer, brighter and a lot more flexible because you’re in it. You’re a gift to every one of us, and today we hope you feel even a fraction of the love you give out every single day. Happy birthday, goddess. We adore you. @with.bec

You already know this about us. Community is the heart of Zero Point, and it has never stopped at the studio door. It’s the chats after class, the catch-ups outside the studio and the friendships that started on neighbouring mats. So we’ve given it a home online too. Zero Point Community is a private Facebook group just for our people, a place to keep the conversation going between classes. To join, tap the link in our bio, hit “Join group” and we’ll let you in. See you in there. 👋

2027 YOGA TEACHER TRAINING There’s only so much we can tell you about Yoga Teacher Training. We can tell you what you’ll learn. Who you’ll learn from. How the weekends work. What’s included. But the people who have actually lived it can tell you something different. So rather than us telling you what Zero Point Academy Teacher Training is, we’ll let one of our graduates @telanvision do some of the talking. For some, this training begins with the goal of becoming a yoga teacher. For others, it begins with wanting to understand their own practice more deeply. To learn more. Question more. Connect more. And while each year brings together its own group of people, graduating doesn’t mean leaving Zero Point Academy behind. Our alumni continue to be part of what we’re building. Through alumni classes, events, further training and opportunities to come back together, the connections reach well beyond the people you trained alongside. Different years. Different paths. One growing Zero Point Academy community. Next years 250HR Yoga Teacher Training is now open for bookings. Maybe this is the year you become part of it. For full details visit zeropointacademy.com.au, email us info@zeropointyoga.net or DM us.

What does the yoga pose “anjaneyasana” and a pro wrestler have in common with this painting?? But first, let me give you some context. This painting was one of my first BIG canvases I did in January. I finished it, but after a few weeks, knew it still wasn’t quite right. So I repainted it again and was ok about it. I would say to people “yeah, I don’t know. I don’t think it’s finished. It might become something else…” not really 100% convinced it was any good. I mean, it was ok, but was it “wow?” Definitely no. So fast forward to this week… I was in my regular yoga class and Bec was talking about the pose “anjaneyasana.” It’s the pose of great capacity; it’s about being humbled while keeping your heart open and praying/wishing/manifesting what your heart desires. Knee to the ground, totally emotionally on your knees while your heart is open and sending that prayer to the sky. I left that class and thought “I know exactly what this painting is meant to be.” I came home and painted like paint was flowing out of my heart, straight onto the canvas. And I LOVE it! I don’t normally say that, but I LOVE IT!!! Oh, and the pro wrestler is because I was listening to the amazing @authorelsiesilver “Wild Side.” Still in the Rose Hill series, Tabitha is a woman who is caring for her nephew after her sister’s death. Rhys is the relatively unknown man that her sister “left” her son to. Oh… and he’s a pro wrestler. It’s such a beautiful story and one of my faves. 😉 #geelongartist #acryliconcanvas #peonypainting #botanicalart #floralartwork

A return to the teachings... 4 years after undertaking my first YTT I felt the cosmic pull back to where it all began. 250hr Tantric Teacher Training with @zeropointyoga. So many asked why repeat the course, for me it was an easy decision as you can only hear what your able to hear at the time. In the 4 years since my first YTT I had evolved in many ways. Returning to a trusted teacher and friend, @with.bec to guide me once more was the path I felt most called. In addition, the course had evolved with the addition of Sanskrit lectures & epic guest teachers. Bec constantly strives to create the most phenomenal trainings. The connections made within the course establish friendships & community like no other. To my Fire Pod & the whole crew of graduates... I love you and so inspired as you step into teaching opportunities, sharing yoga your way, and knowing the beautiful ripple effect this experience will have on those around you. The YTT runs Feb - May, registrations opem for 2027. Are you feeling the call? 🩷✨️🩷 #zeropointyoga #zeropointacademy #yogateachertraining #zeropointconsciousness #soundhealing

Some catch ups need an overnight stay. Make it a sleepover. Bring the girls, stay up too late and sleep in properly. The Eagle Suite, sleeps three.
