Today, I witnessed Chennai come together. Students, families, friends, and strangers stood side by side, united by hope and the belief that every dream deserves to be heard.

What stayed with me wasn’t just the slogans. It was the determination in every face, the quiet support between strangers, and the feeling that an entire generation had found its voice.

Gen Z has shown that when people stand together, their voices can carry far beyond the streets they walk on. Whether you’re behind a placard, behind a camera, or simply listening, moments like these remind us that solidarity begins with showing up for one another.

As a photographer and filmmaker, I believe some moments deserve to be documented, because they become part of our collective memory.
