Ayo! Long time no see, what’s up? We’re back to deliver the latest edition of our I <3 Los Angeles spotify playlist! Dedicated to the incredible artists that inhabit our city, this collection of tracks will enlighten & expose you to local musicians that you should know about. Artists like @midnightsister , @swimm , @sextileband , @hanavuuu , @igweaka , and so many more. This week’s mix leans heavily into the indie alt. psychedelic experimental rock sphere, the perfect playlist for a smoke or a nap or a drive through the canyon. Enjoy. Love, #PookieLosAngeles

Seeing so many great friends and family was by far the best part of the trip! Special thanks to those of you who let me crash and made this thing possible. Love you all!

Sorry to @danviafore and @brianscheuble for forgetting to take pics, and to those of you I didn't get a chance to see, so many others of you in LA and San Diego, next time!

Just put together I’ve got 11 million streams on Spotify across the stuff I’ve worked on over the last couple years. 🥲 and another 3.5M on diff YouTube vids I was a part of. Sappy reflection incoming. Get out now if you please.

When the pandemic hit I had been primarily touring for 6 years or so and I truly loved it, but in the back of my head I always knew I ultimately wanted to be in the studio writing songs, producing, and to have my own artist project(s). It felt impossible to build momentum in between tours. So when touring stopped in 2020 it not only gave me time to slow down and reflect on my path - it gave me the opportunity to pivot to the studio full time.

At times it’s been really challenging. Much of the network I had built over the last 10 years still viewed me as a live engineer, financially it was hard to come close to my old income, and I had a healthy dose of imposter syndrome and lack of confidence moving into a new corner of the industry. (Plus I’m the literal worst at self promotion, but consider this an invite to come make songs with me 🫠) have always had a hard time saying this but… IM GOOD.😤

And while numbers don’t mean nearly as much as being able to express myself and collaborate with incredible people, it’s humbling to see my work connect with so many people.

So just wanted to express my gratitude to the people who have supported me and trusted me with their artistic vision through that transition. Especially in an industry where numbers have come to mean everything, and I had few to show. 👀 @broodsmusic @itscalebnott @tovelo @ashemusic @thisismichl @middlekidsmusic @olivmusic_ @jamessupercave @chuckisaband @houndsperiod @withbigjoy @finishticket @sobelowsound @alisaxayalith @dresagemusic @ben_barter @space__above
MUCH love to you all.

I’m so excited to continue to share myself through music and photos and videos and everything I love to do. Cheers to manyyy more songs, hangs, laughs and cries to come. (If you made it this far you’re likely someone I care deeply about and I appreciate you 🫶)

Quick thanks to this sexy older man (he’s 30) for keeping me together. I’ve loved you for so many lives and so many more! 😘 (but hopefully never again in Vegas with pat)
