It’s time to think ahead and do something sweet for your future self. Before life starts moving fast and gets super busy again, book your remaining appointments for the year. This will make future you (and your stylist) very happy and well prepared!

“Think soft auburn, golden strawberry tones, and warm reflective hues. Gold is essential for modernizing copper in 2026—this isn’t about bold red, but a softer, more lived-in finish.

This look can be done as a solid color or with soft dimension. Strawberry tones keep it airy rather than heavy. Ideally, the hair lives in a level 7–8 range to maintain softness. A soft copper base with a golden overlay creates the glossy, reflective finish we’re seeing this summer.”

@withchi.ange and I had our work cut out for us! My client in her consultation expressed but wanting a shadow root and possibly “bleaching out her roots”! 😭! So what we did was actually heavy highlight her with @wellahair @wellaeducation BLONDOR lighter. Lifting it a level 8. Afterwards we toned her with Wella Illumnia 7/0 and 8/1 with 20vol at a 1:2 ratio to make the already sheer color more sheer but still utilizing the lift we can get to achieve with Illumnia to get that beautiful shift on her natural hair.
