How was I yesterday-years-old when I found out that @pata_negra_house_group does a Disneyland style jamon extravaganza experience?

Thanks @withlauraamy for organising 🐷🐖🍖

My Weekend Itinerary for Macau! 🇲🇴
*
Day 1: Macau Island

▪️Ruins of St. Paul’s: A UNESCO World Heritage site. The facade of the church is the only remaining part of the 16th-century church. Also visit Monte Fort adjacent for panoramic views of the city.
▪️Senado Square: plaza with beautiful architecture & charming shops.
▪️Stroll Rua da Felicidade: vibrant street lined with colorful colonial-style buildings.
▪️Lunch at Margaret’s Café e Nata: build your own sandwiches & famous for Portuguese tarts.
▪️A-Ma Temple: oldest temple in Macau dedicated to the sea-goddess Mazu.
▪️Macau Tower: 338-meter tower has stunning views of the city, an observation deck, restaurant, & a bungee jump experience.
▪️Drinks & nibbles at ‘Cathedral Cafe.’ A classic Macau tavern with lots of Portuguese flavours.
▪️St. Lazarus’ Parish - one of the best preserved historical neighbourhoods in Macau.
▪️Dinner at ALBERGUE 1601 Heritage Restaurant (if you’re not too full from everything earlier).
*
Day 2: Taipa/Cotai/Coloane
*
▪️Taipa Houses-Museum: collection of traditional Macanese houses showcasing the area’s history and culture.
▪️Coloane Village: charming fishing village with narrow streets & traditional architecture.
▪️Lunch at Fernando’s Restaurant in Coloane Village known for its delicious Macanese cuisine. Or return to Taipa and enjoy a leisurely Portuguese lunch at Tapas de Portugal by Antonio.
▪️Shopping or just enjoy the faux European decor at the Parisian or the Venetian Macao; the world’s largest casino. They have a good mix of international & local brands.
▪️Dinner at the famous António’s or O Santos; both amazing places for traditional Portuguese
▪️Or if you’ve had enough Portuguese food try Jade Dragon or Lai Heen.
▪️End the night by trying your luck at the casinos! Or catch a show like the House of Dancing Water.

When people say: ‘Who does she think she is?!’ The correct answer is: ‘Apparently someone living her life unconcerned with who you think she is.’

‘What if you wake up some day, and you’re 65, and you were just so strung out on perfectionism and people-pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life?!’

📍Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur
*
Just up 272 steps is the gorgeous Batu Caves. These limestone caves house active Hindu temples and shrines that pilgrims and worshippers still visit, as well as us tourists.

We were supposed to go to Bali for this trip; but flights were a mess, accommodation sparse, and it all seemed more stressful than a holiday should be. So we hopped on a plane to KL and were all the better for it! ♥️
