as i reflect on my time at spelman, it has honestly been a tough experience. i’ve had many ups and downs, many times where i wanted to quit, and many times where i felt hopeless. as of today i am so proud to say that i pushed through and will be graduating with a b.a. in psychology in 12 days. as someone who never felt like they were doing enough or involved in enough at spelman i want to take the time to be proud of my accomplishments because no matter what finishing college in itself is one of the greatest achievements. during my time at spelman i:

- participated in an internship at Yale University
- interned at a research lab at Georgia State University
- was inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta First Year Honor Society
- was inducted into the Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society
- volunteered in SpelREADS
- volunteered and mentored young girls in miniS.K.I.R.T.S.
- auditioned and joined the Spelman Dance Theatre
- worked as a Behavioral Health Technician
- presented research at the American Educational Research Association Meeting
- volunteered for over 300+ hours

i am proud to say i am closing this chapter and moving on to pursue a master’s degree of education in school psychology at Howard University! so excited for what the future holds.
