Something new is coming to Soul of the Earth Village! 🌿

Introducing WILD DAYS! 🍂
PA Day adventures for children ages 6–13, whether they’re homeschooled or attend school!

One of my greatest hopes for Soul of the Earth Village has been to create more opportunities for children and families to gather, learn alongside one another and deepen their relationship with the natural world.
And I’m so excited that we’re opening the village to even more families!

Together with @naturemomandme and Chantale, we’re offering four full days of outdoor exploration and adventure, each one shaped by the changing seasons.

Days spent wandering through the forest, following animal tracks, learning about wild plants, practising fire skills, creating with natural materials, getting muddy, playing and building friendships.

But what I love most about these offerings is what lives beneath the activities themselves.

The opportunity for children to develop reverence for the natural world. To learn through experience, to work with their hands, to discover what they’re capable of and to remember that they belong to something much greater than themselves.

Learning is not separate from life. And nature is not simply somewhere we go to play. We are part of it. 🌎

The Remembering Thread

Returning to Our Roots

A Morning of Ceremonial Breathwork & Traditional Basket Weaving

There is something deeply nourishing about returning to the ways of our ancestors. Working with our hands, sitting together, creating something from the Earth and remembering that we, too, are part of nature.

So much of our modern world pulls us away from these simple ways of being. Away from our bodies, away from the land, away from the wisdom that lives within us.

This gathering is an invitation to return.

Together, @naturemomandme and I will guide you through a morning of ceremonial breathwork and basket weaving, bringing together two practices that invite us to slow down, listen and remember.

We will begin with the breath.

An opportunity to turn inward, to meet ourselves where we are, to listen to what is arising and to create space for whatever is asking for our attention.

There is nothing to force, fix or figure out.

Only an invitation to be present with ourselves, to surrender to the wisdom of the breath and allow the experience to unfold.

From there, we will move into the art of traditional basket weaving, working with natural materials and our hands to create something beautiful and useful.

As we weave, we will have the opportunity to sit with what arose during our breathwork ceremony. To allow the experience to settle, to integrate, to share stories or simply be together in the quiet rhythm of making.

There is medicine in working with our hands.

In learning skills that have been passed from generation to generation.

In remembering that we are not separate from the Earth, but in relationship with her.

This is not simply a workshop about learning to weave a basket or having a breathwork experience.

It is an invitation to slow down enough to hear ourselves again.

To remember the beauty of creating with our hands.

To return to our roots.

And to experience what becomes possible when we make space to breathe, create and simply be together.

Come as you are. Leave your expectations at the door.

We will breathe, and then we will weave. 🌿🤍

The amount of 'holy shit is this my real life!?' that I've been sitting in this week is wild.

don't forget to notice how far you've come and everything that's come through because you made it a reality.
