A great end of the day! A nice chunky one on 40 cm and 1 kg! A really hard take on my Leggy ned in black/ purple fished on a sink 7 line on a edge around 4-5 meter depths.

Another spey hackle shrimp, it's actually grizzly pink but hardly noticeable on the photo. Tied on Partridge CS54 size 4.

Overall a slow day but it turns out to a day to remember for a long time!
My little crayfish fly ( the candy cray 😉) in black with a hint of purple fished over 4 m on a sink 7 line ( sniper 4 season line from airflo ) was the deal!
Two biggest was a 42 cm on 1,05 kg and one 40 cm just under one kg!

Biggest one from yesterday! A really nice one on 45 cm and 1,09 kg.
Took on a simple baitfish fly tied with Steve farrar's flash blend and tied bend back style on a @partridge_hooks swimming shrimp hook size 1.

A version of the "Laser shrimp". Here I combined spey hackle and Coq de Leon.

Surely, I am not much of for grayling fishing because of there is no grayling waters close to me. But now I am in northern Sweden to make it happen.
I had no idea what fly to begin with and where to cast. With some luck on my side, I managed to catch some with the first choice for fly.
Whit no witnesses, all by myself in gorgeous nature I felt like a little boy catching his very first fish😀 and happiness was all mine 😀
Have a great evening everyone ✌🏻
