Wedding Recap | For two people who aren’t particularly fond of being the center of attention (or any fuss, for that matter), all we really wanted was to gather our favorite people in a place we love and throw a big party. We wanted it to feel like us. Unpretentious, unfussy, and relaxed.

Fallingwater has always meant so much to me. My grandparents were devoted conservationists and supporters of its preservation, instilling in me a deep appreciation for architecture, the natural world, and the importance of caring for the places that connect us to our past. Summers spent in the Laurel Highlands are woven into so many of my favorite memories, and returning there to begin this new chapter felt incredibly special.

As for the theme (and I’m really not one for themes)… I’ve always been a little obsessed with Art Nouveau, so naturally, wildflowers, botanical illustrations, and a few nods to the movement found their way into the day. We drew inspiration from the native flora of Western Pennsylvania, letting the surrounding landscape guide the details of our celebration. It felt like a natural extension of a place we already loved so much.

Beyond its extraordinary architecture, Fallingwater represents something we both care deeply about: preservation and stewardship. We’re so grateful for the work of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, whose dedication to protecting this remarkable place and our region’s natural landscapes ensures that future generations can experience and appreciate them, too.

At the end of the day, having so many of our favorite people together in one place, celebrating, laughing, dancing, and making memories we’ll carry with us forever. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebration or better people to share it with.

Today marks the end of an era 💔One of the biggest moments of my career was landing the deal while I was Head of Business Development for ShowClix to ticket The Late Show with Stephen Colbert when Stephen took over the iconic Ed Sullivan Theater.

I’ll never forget heading to New York City with the ShowClix crew to fully train the team on admissions and ticketing operations for the new show. From the very beginning, Stephen Colbert’s team treated us with such incredible warmth, kindness, and professionalism, something that has stayed with me all these years later.

And to my dear friend, the unbelievably talented Louis Cato, who has led The Late Show Band with so much heart and soul, I am especially thinking of you today. Music has a way of carrying people through the chaos of life, and night after night, this show gave people laughter, comfort, music, and a moment to exhale at the end of hectic days. That impact is immeasurable.

Thank you, Stephen Colbert, Louis Cato, and everyone behind The Late Show for the joy, the brilliance, the music, and the memories. You’ve impacted so many lives in ways bigger than television.
