Coaching these young men has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. From watching them achieve personal goals and set personal records to making school history as a team, this season has been something I’ll never forget. There were certainly ups and downs along the way, but the highs far outweighed the lows.

As my first real coaching job, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. What I found was a group of young men who taught me just as many lessons as I hope I taught them. In such a short amount of time, I got to watch these players grow not only as athletes, but as leaders, teammates, and people. Seeing that growth has been incredibly special.

I can’t thank these guys enough for trusting me, listening to me, and allowing me to be a part of their journey, whether it was on the field or off of it. A special thank you goes to our senior class. The impact you’ve had on this program and on me personally won’t be forgotten. I’m going to miss seeing you guys every day, and I’m grateful for the memories, laughs, and experiences we shared throughout the season.

This team will always hold a special place in my heart, and I couldn’t be more proud of everything we accomplished together. ❤️🏆🥍
