A thousand thanks to everyone who came out to our first pop up night at Cafe Brio. We learned a lot. For example, we learned that people love taking pictures of West and Wylie. We learned that you can fit an entire separate menus worth of mise en place in the Brio walk in cooler with a little good will and a lot of Tetris. I learned how to print double sided menus at the Tolmie ave Staples. Special thanks to the high school kid who begrudgingly showed me how. That young lad was just one of the many people behind the scenes who helped us make this idea a reality. A very special thanks to Sam, Vinny, and the entire Brio crew for hosting us.

We will be announcing our next event over the coming week. Spoiler alert, it’s at Cafe Brio. Sign up for the mailing list on our website (at the link in our bio) to get early access to tickets, we look forward to hosting you soon. 🐌

We did it! It’s over! 2021 was certainly a doozy, and while there were some lows we are so grateful for the incredible love and support from our Victoria community and beyond. Thank you to everyone who sat in the rain while we were patio only. Thank you to what felt like the entire city of Victoria for coming out during heat dome when we ran out of everything. Thank you to everyone who came in for our first full year of being open with (sort of) no shutdowns!
We also want to thank our suppliers from across the province who have all had a challenging year but continued to bring us amazing local wines, spirits, produce, and of course, chicken.
A special shout-out to our amazing staff who have been absolute heroes all year.
We’ll be open from 4-1 today with space for both early and late night walk ins. Come pop bottles of champagne and crack cans of lucky to celebrate the end of another bonkers year!
