Producing this commercial for Playmobil alongside @josh_cohen, @soup.film, @chelsyfilms and an incredibly lovely crew was fun!

This project truly tested teamwork and in the end teamwork pulled us through. Pre-production threw battles from every angle but having a jack-of-all-trades producer like @_dashinski_ on the German side made all the difference. I don’t often get impressed by communication style or Google Sheet tables - being a bit of a freak about them myself - but working with Dasha and @_valle08_ on this challenging project was a dream. Truly, they’re the ones you want in your corner!

From the very first meet up it was obvious that @josh_cohen & @annasmoronova were in sync, leading with clarity and keeping the process calm and focused.

Huge shoutout to @casm___ and @magick___malvina. The start was rocky but once we were all in one room everything clicked. A few sleepless nights later and just look at those rooms now. They slap!

Lit beautifully by @peto_sesto x @daylightrental, gripped by @abuludvik beyond belief and also thanks to @reproduction_rental for the hicupsless process. Big up to @kirsche_ontop for oiling the machine and keeping us all on schedule!

@charliebrown_casting - this was no walk in the park. Even one week after PPM, main talents weren’t locked and it was already July aka full-on summer holiday chaos. Thanks for being a true teammate Bora and for all your patience while we chased confirmations and juggled dates with parents.

Shoutout to @barbora_kubi, @mischeldoublew & @kristywolfmakeup - you made these two shoot days a breeze. I didn’t have to worry for a second.

Thank you @romanschonmann for bringing me on board and @chelsyfilms for trusting me. What a ride🖤

Big love to my ace ladies @wkoczo & @sona_trubacova for jumping in at the last minute and keeping the set running like clockwork🔥
Cheers to @lazo_dfrnt, @maru.baa and Palo - you’re basically the human gaffa tape holding all the production pieces together.

My final shoutouts go to @ursapremik x @thevisionphotos! Professional, energetic, and just make the set feel effortless. Thank you for your flow and all the laughs!

It’s been a while since I posted anything work-related as a lot has been happening over summer. But I am very grateful for all the opportunities these past months and especially for the wild bunch of amazing people I got to work with!

What looks effortless on screen often feels like chaos on set and this one nailed the vibe. On screen it’s fast, colorful, and packed… and so were our two 15 hour shoot days. Every hour felt like five and the coffee budget proves it.

The tone was set in prep when @rubieromarco dropped the first AD plan draft along with the line: “We’re at 18 hours now, guys… on both days.”
We laughed (over tears), rolled up our sleeves, adjusted what we could and then just made it happen.

@_marioclement & @konradlosch hustled like superheroes and with @easydoesit_berlin’s trademark doers energy, we with @romanschonmann x @chelsyfilms somehow surfed the chaos waves instead of drowning in them.

Huge love to the whole team for surviving multiple company moves, tricky rigs and endless outfit changes with a small army of talents. All of that in the hottest 35°C+ days of this summer. It was sweaty, messy, and borderline ridiculous at times… but that’s what made it so much fun. I mean at the end of the day that’s filmmaking, right?! ✌🏽
