KeSTRA MeLoDY's song of the day weekly recap
6th -12th July

06.07.26 Lo-Fi Children by @wldprty

This is one of those songs Spotify suggested to me and randomly started playing but I actually really enjoyed it and now it's on a lot of my playlists.

07.07.26 Suddenly I See by @kttunstall

Who doesn't love this song? Even my mum sings along to this song and there isn't actually a lot of music she likes. Also it's a banging opening to the devil wears Prada

08.07.26 Something that I want by @graciepotter

Best Disney film ever also has the best credits song ever.

09.07.26 First Light by @hozier

This song is so beautifully epic and it just makes me think about how amazing it would be to be there and witness when god said "let there be light". Chills. Every time.

10.07.26 Viktor by Bonnie Brae

I watched the robin hood film and then thought this was a vibe at the end.

11.07.26 My Endeavor by @ruby.robertss

I don't really know how I came across this song but I think it's beautiful. Gorgeous harmonies and stunning lyricism, also I love the hand drawn cover art so much.

12.06.26 Honey by @graace

I watched the artful dodger and this song came on and I thought wowww this is a banger and I looked for it in the credits and added it to my playlists.

Cheeky Giants by Wild Party

"Wild Party’s youthful joy was done much better on their debut, as it feels juvenile in the modern age. Still, there are a few golden moments on Cheeky Giants, though I’d suggest asking a friend for their recommendations first."

OVERALL SCORE: 3/10

Favorite track: Kickin' Rocks (To Ezra)
Least favorite track: Dreamin' Up
