It didn’t matter that I didn’t drink coffee after work.

What mattered was him. He still does. Happy 32 years since the evening that started it all. 🤎

Spring 2026 was brutal, and also beautiful.

I learned that there truly is a ‘heart shelf’ where joy and sorrow sit side by side. Where faith and fear can share space.

I can’t fully express the profound gratitude I feel having my family together in this season. I know how lucky I am. Glimmers abound. ❤️

Well, the 2-month Utah experiment has become a new way of life. 🧡

One year ago today, we arrived in Salt Lake City for a temporary stay. Spoiler: we’re still here!

Leaving Boulder last summer was a Hail Mary. It was time for a change.

Things definitely fell into pieces before they fell into place.

In nine months we lived in 5 different houses! Even in Airbnbs, with most of our stuff in storage, there was so much packing and unpacking!

So many unknowns.
So much uncertainty.
So many tears and emotions.
So much healing.

Running parallel to all of the stress was a massive river of FUN. I’m talking more consistent fun than I’ve maybe ever had before.

I never imagined that my adult life would include such an unusual, unexpected adventure.

In hindsight, I know that every moment of the past year was perfectly aligned.

Utah is home in this season. Life here is elevated, indeed.
