A little bit of life lately xx

Just bits here and there but don’t forget to read between the lines on social media. We post the good stuff but we don’t post the mundane. I’m still over here doing endless laundry, trying to balance ‘life’, stressing about work and enjoying a wonderfully long period.

Happy Sunday you lovely lot xx

What a lovely day that was x

Today I coached a bunch of women from @wmnrun and a few others on getting strong to improve their runs 🏃🏼‍♀️

I’m fully online now and although it’s been great I will always love the in-person element to coaching.

Especially when I can get more women confident owning space in the gym and lifting heavy.

I’m definitely not one of those who thinks everyone should be obsessed with lifting weights but strength really is the foundation for everything…

So it was great to challenge this lovely lot today and I had fun doing it too.

Thank you to all of the girls for coming, I need a nap now 😂

Cheltenham Half Marathon done ✅

First run in AGES that I actually loved! Managed to run without stopping for at least 11 miles, then the wheels came off and it was a plod to the finish! 02.01.58 on the clock, hot and hilly but finally starting to enjoy my running again, and I know I’ve definitely got sub 2 still in me somewhere!!

Amazing support today from the crowds and top tier cheer squad @nath_tay

Congrats @mx_markella_of_the_white_acre who smashed it today too and everyone else who ran today!

Until next time 👋

Shout out to all these lovely humans (and dogs 🐕) that have helped me find some sort of running mojo recently 🫶🏃‍♀️

The last few months have been such a tough one mentally, weeks and weeks of not feeling myself, loosing my way with work life balance, not sleeping, problems with my stomach, not in a routine, becoming a year older, a few too many of tears, a lack of purpose and direction but you’ve honestly all helped to pull me through so thank you! ❤️🙏

Isn’t the running community just the best?!

Now to look forward to a busy few weeks with a bit more of a step in my stride..

My line up looks like this, if you’re heading to any of these then I’ll see you there 👋

September 1st Cheltenham 1/2 Marathon
October 20th Amsterdam Marathon
October 27th Marbella 70.3

Hopefully a few parkruns chucked in for good measure and then most likely a rest 😴🛌

We always do our best to work with local crews and runners to plan our routes to be both safe and fun, especially when the attendance pushes 120+

London definitely put us to the test, but proved to be well worth it.

Absolutely buzzing to tick this one off today Maverick Mendips Long Course! ✅

Something so special about running around the places you remember as a kid growing up here, but always seem to be away when this event is on!

Even better to share it with the legends @queensquarerunclub and who doesn’t love a race that finishes with Alba cuddles 🐾👸 she won her race too 🥇

Well done to everyone who ran today that was a tough course in parts! Until next time @maverickrace ✌️🧢💨🏃‍♀️
