We’re so happy to introduce Dr. Shilpa Sayana as one of our featured speakers for this October’s Wellness in Practice. 🤎

Triple board-certified in Internal, Obesity, and Functional Medicine, Dr. Shilpa brings a thoughtful, integrative approach to understanding the connection between hormones, stress, lifestyle, and the symptoms that can be easy to overlook.

She has a way of making complex medicine feel practical and approachable, helping people better understand their bodies and make more informed choices about their wellbeing.

We can’t wait to have her bring her perspective into the room.

More from @sayanamedical soon.

A little throwback to our Fireworks & Founders Market in July 🎆✨

We brought together an incredible community of women founders to connect, collaborate, support one another, and celebrate the businesses they’re building. This is what happens when women are given the space to be seen, supported, and celebrated. 💕

Here’s to creating more spaces where women can shine together. 💜

When’s the last time you popped, locked and dropped it? 😞 As a therapist, I constantly see adults clients who are exhausted, disconnected, and unhappy. Not always because something is “wrong” with their lives, but because somewhere along the way, they forgot how to LIVE.

They stopped doing the things that made them light up. They stopped being silly. They stopped creating just for the sake of creating. They stopped dancing, playing, exploring, being curious, laughing until their stomach hurt, or doing something simply because it was FUN.

We become so focused on being productive, successful, responsible adults that we sometimes forget that we are still the same little person underneath it all who wants to experience joy.

There’s a quote by Pablo Picasso that I love:

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”

Inner child healing isn’t only about healing the parts of you that were hurt. It’s also about reconnecting with the parts of you that got lost along the way. 🤍 So go outside, get some dirt on you, dance like no one’s watching, and pop lock and drop it. 💫

Who came to mind when you read this?

September is Suicide Prevention Month.

Sometimes, the people who need support aren’t the ones who look like they’re struggling.

They may be the ones who keep showing up, rarely ask for help, or seem to have everything under control.

That’s why checking in matters. 💌

You don’t need the perfect words. A simple “How are you really doing?” can create space for someone to be honest about what they’re carrying.

And if someone tells you they’re struggling, listen without judgment, stay connected, and help them find the support they need.

You never know how much it can mean to know someone noticed.

Drop a 💚 if you’ll check in on someone today.

Had the opportunity of photographing the WOC Home. A therapy, healing, and women’s creative space.
Here are some photos from that work. Thank you @iamtamikalewis

I met this woman one day, after a sound healing workshop at the @wochouse . She was taking photos for her upcoming event and stopped to chat with my sisters and me. She invited us to an author immersion workshop she was hosting the following week. It sounded interesting, but I was like, I am not a writer, I can barely spell! She had great energy and was kinda a weirdo like me. Maybe this could be good for @3ofcupshealing, I thought to myself.

A week later I was at her workshop, broke an arrow on my neck, and decided that I had a juicy story to tell that would help heal my life in ways I never imagined. Last week’s workshop was another transformative experience, and I broke yet another arrow on my neck. My voice feels clear, my story worth telling, releasing the trauma and the pain - converting it into purpose. If you want to tell your story but are struggling with the how, my amazing friend @wildlarynx is a powerful energy worker to partner with. She made me believe that I am indeed a writer. ✍🏽

What a beautiful afternoon of connection, wellness, and community. 🤍

Our AI & Wellness gathering brought together an incredible group of women to explore technology, leadership, well-being, and the importance of staying connected.

We’re so grateful for the amazing sponsors, supporters, and contributors who helped make this day so special — including @lizethography , who beautifully captured the moments, conversations, and connections throughout the event. 📸

Swipe through to meet some of the wonderful people and brands behind the day. ➡️

@wochouse is a beautiful, peaceful space created for connection, reflection, and meaningful conversations. Surrounded by a calm and welcoming atmosphere, it offers women a place to slow down, feel present, and connect with one another. 🤍

Founded by @iamtamikalewis of WOC Therapy, the space is rooted in mental wellness, community, and personal growth.

Tamika also has an upcoming book club for women looking to connect, reflect, and grow together. ✨

It was so special having @sherylanjanette , author of The Imposter Lies Within, with us.

Her book explores imposter syndrome, self-doubt, and the beliefs that can make us question ourselves even when we’ve already accomplished so much.

A powerful reminder to recognize our worth, own our achievements, and stop allowing our inner doubts to define us.
