Happy 1k post to me! 🎉
Phantom of The Opera is one of my favorite musicals which is why I figured posting it as my one thousandth post would be good. I distinctly remember my mom giving me a portable dvd player along with a bunch of different musicals and one of them was the Phantom! And then my dreams were going to come true in seeing a live performance until I got sick and couldn’t go 🥹 there will be a next time I hope!

Now I know it isn’t exactly a canon cosplay but we went with a different route… a more sapphic interpretation 👀 (more photos to come next week). But I still hope I evoked the spirit of Christine Daae. It’s a cosplay I’ve lowkey always have wanted to do but also scared and never one I thought I could do well? Especially, loving the musical so much. But here we are cosplaying her-ish! And I can’t wait to post moreee with a certain Phantom…

I have always loved the 80s. Unironically.

In fact, Jun the Virgo’s first incarnation was the 80s bimbo who got killed first in a horror movie…but as the years moved on, my taste has classed up…juuuust a little bit.

This is just a small collection of my current 80s beaded gowns. And I want MORE!

Which look was your favorite? Red is my power color, but she needs to be taken in…so for now, blue has my heart.

I’ve been getting a lot of Peggy Carter comments recently so I wanted to bring her back! I know my suit is not the best (yes this is the Peggy costume from Ebay I’ve been using since I started cosplaying) and I def wanna upgrade it but :’) I got NYCC to save for!!
