Peacock launched Public Eye, an AI-generated detective game from Wolf Games, co-founded by Dick Wolf's son Elliot.

Different bet than Roku's rocky Fairground AI channel: real genre credibility, explicit human creative oversight, and an already-proven format, Law & Order: Clue Hunter averages 6+ minutes of daily engagement per player on the same platform.

Worth watching whether "AI with real oversight" actually lands differently than the rougher, more autonomous approach elsewhere.

The company, which builds cinematic, AI-driven games personalized to each player, will use the funds to expand its operations and reach. Wolf Games’ debut title, Public Eye, a detective-themed interactive world, is set to enter beta later this year, followed by a full launch. The next generation of entertainment isn't just coming - it's already here, and I'm genuinely thrilled to be part of it!

Wolf Games is creating generative cinematic experiences that adapt to each player's choices. I've been fortunate to work alongside some incredible minds - Elliot Wolf, Noah Rosenberg, Andrew Adashek, and the rest of our incredible team - who all saw the same opportunity: help creators go more quickly from idea to audience, bringing players straight into the heart of the stories they love. Relevant, compelling, ripped-from-the-headlines playable stories delivered fresh every day.

We're taking a different approach than what you might be seeing elsewhere. Rather than using AI to simply make traditional entertainment cheaper (which feels like missing the point), we're trying to create something new - interactive narratives that connect with people in ways that weren't possible before.

Our first game, Public Eye, puts you in a near-future where police departments have opened their doors to civilian help with solving murders. If that sounds like something you'd enjoy, the waitlist is now open at wolfgames.net. We're launching this summer, and I'd love for you to be among the first to try it.

A quick thanks to Lauren Forristal at TechCrunch for sharing our story. You can check out her piece, link in the Bio.
