This weekend at Freak Wars 2025 in Madrid was unforgettable. More than the awards, what stays with me are the encounters, the late-night talks, and the chance to reconnect with so many friends in this amazing community. 💙

Still, the recognition my pieces received fills me with gratitude:
🥉Bronze – Fantasy Individual Master with my Nurgle Warband
🎓Honorable Mention – Fantasy Open Master with Buggy "run for your life"
🥈 Silver – Fantasy Bust Master with the Necroserver (boxart for @ferminiatures )
🥈 Silver – Fantasy Storytelling Master with Tales of Cancer, my most personal project
🥈 Silver – Historical Open Master with Rebels on Wheels, a conversion from 2 bust from @masclans_miniatures

It was an intense weekend of reunions, laughter, and passion for miniature art. Thanks from the bottom of my heart to everyone who came by to say hello, even if I couldn’t spend as much time with each of you as I would’ve liked. Your support gives meaning to every step of this path.

.

A brief recap of my experience at Monte San Savino: I’m thrilled to have earned a Silver Medal in the Master Historical Painting category with Rebels on Wheels and a Bronze Medal in the Master Fantasy Open category with @joapala ’s sculpt of Phasmos Yrevh (based on @art.of.migueliglesias ' illustration).

While medals are always a joy, the real prize is the time spent with people you care about. From my amazing @masclans_miniatures School crew to those who shared snores with me at the Monte San Savino house—every moment was unforgettable!

To everyone I shared a conversation with this weekend, know that you’re part of these heartfelt thanks.

I’ll start posting photos of the pieces soon.

Stay tuned!

And another year at Monte comes to an end, making it two so far. A second year to confirm that last time wasn’t a one-off and to solidify that, without a doubt, this is the best event and celebration of the hobby I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending.

Of course, it wouldn’t have been the same without my dear friends @isakovich.paintwork , @marc.placon , @wolfuchs_miniatures , and the rest of the Catalan crew❤️❤️ felicitats per les pedazo medalles 🙌🙌

It was also amazing to reconnect with friends and fellow hobbyists, and finally meet in person those I had been chatting with on social media for so long. @bohemond_minis @blanco.minis @dimosxls, @sh4dowsofcolors @mamikonpaints and many more 🙌

Congratulations to all the participants for the incredible level of creativity and the inspiration and artistry on display in the exhibition. And

Huge kudos to @franciuus_art for being an outstanding master of ceremonies and to the rest of the organizers and judges.

Next year, it’ll be time to push my work and come back stronger 🤌

🇬🇧The freak wars are over!

I want to start by thanking the organization and volunteers for allowing us to enjoy this event, you are incredible. From the first to the last, THANK YOU!

I was able to bring home two bronze 🥉 🥉 medals in Master category in a very, very tough competition. There were incredible pieces in both standard and masters, congratulations to everyone.

I wanted to thank everyone who came to say hello and everyone with whom I had a little chat, the truth is that it is an event that falls short. I would like to spend much more time hanging out and enjoying with all of you.

Thanks to those who came to the Demo I did on Sunday morning at bigchild, I was pleased that those who came stayed until the end. Lastly, I would especially like to thank the people at the Nucleo and everyone at Masclans' school for the weekend and welcome. You are incredible.
