Peep how I switch which wrist is on top! V important for your same-side swing swing flow

✨it’s a fun #coordination drill when you want to keep jumping but want to reduce the intensity bc you will see I’m NOT jumping over the rope once I start swinging - then it’s just side swingin shuffling. Lowers the impact too. Tips👇

✨Tips✨
-low micro bounces while you shuffle
-shuffles are just high knee into a straddle then switch legs & repeat high knee into a straddle switch & repeat ⚡️ LFG. It’s a fave.
- keep your wrists flicking at your pocket position

💃 I’ll be teaching this & other skills w @tania.skips next week at our meetup IRL. Free RSVP link in bio. All are welcome. All skipping experiences too + beginners.

🎉 We don’t always have skills “teaching” stations at our meetups AND this is a very special beach summer @jumpropevancouver meetup w the @yvrshufflers fam. JOIN US!⚡️

💃🏻🕺🏻Dance shuffle teachers @vancityshuffler & @gabriellagloria_ (!!!) will be there helping anyone try new footwork skills. 😮‍💨💗

OR, if you just want to come by, jump a bit, hang out at sunset beach for the fun music and beautiful views?? that’s cool too. There will be double Dutch jumping too as always & new friends to meet for you!

🎶 @wolfylights still LOVE jumpin to this one

🌸 coincidental @girlfriend X @lululemon garden matching LOL AND w a pink 5mm pvc 🪢 by @thejumpropecompany.ca too ?? Is it too much??? 😂

Two years ago today we released "Music w/ Friends" - our 2nd studio album. We had just come out of Covid, it was a very weird time, but what kept us going was working on all this music with so many different friends spread out around the globe. Everything was done remotely, sending Ableton sessions back and forth, jumping on late night zooms and virtual screen shares. We tossed aside any care for genres and just dived into music that made us feel good. It was so refreshing, we weren't on tour but still felt connected with everyone via the studio. We ended up adding a bunch of remixes to the album too, some that we did and some that we asked other friends to do. It felt like a new approach to making an album, it was stress free, we had no deadlines, no one else breathing down our neck or adding editorial comments, we were inspired. The secret = collaborating with friends.

Happy to report our next album is well underway, we've been in the studio A TON over the last two years working on the next album. You'll be hearing some of these new songs at festivals this summer and hopefully we'll have some news + new music with more friends to share very soon!

If there's one thing that's undoubtedly true about a career in music, you are no where without your fans AND your friends. We love you all so much ❤️❤️ And so appreciate each of you being on this journey with us 🙏🙏🙏 Nick & Dunks.

It was an honour to perform at the legendary Ray St. Germain’s Celebration of Life yesterday afternoon with the St. Germain family. Cathy, Ray Jr, DJ, Sherry, Jeff, and Catie St Germain all performed, as well as many other great musicians. What a beautiful, heartfelt tribute it was for Ray ❤️ Such a talented family that I have known for 22 years!
