\|/ šŸ’€ Wolverine Wed šŸ’€ \|/ Marvel Comics Presents 90, a vintage 1991 comic book featuring Wolverine and Ghost Rider. Comic Details Publisher: Marvel Comics Release Year: 1991 Cover Artist: Sam Kieth Key Characters: Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Cable, and The Beast Wolverine in "Blood Hungry" (Part 6): Logan finds himself in a brutal jungle showdown against the deadly, metal-clawed villain Cyber. Weakened by Cyber's hallucinogenic hallucinogens, Wolverine must fight through a drug-induced haze to survive. Ghost Rider and Cable in "Acts of Vengeance": The Spirit of Vengeance and the time-traveling mutant mutant team up to stop a dangerous weapon heist. The Beast in "The Gentlemen's Club": Hank McCoy uses his mutant agility and genius intellect to untangle a high-society corporate conspiracy. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Sam Kieth (1963ā€“2026) The comic world deeply mourns the passing of legendary artist and writer Sam Kieth, who passed away on March 15, 2026, at age 63. Kieth was a true visionary whose raw, hyper-exaggerated anatomy and surreal visual style completely altered the landscape of 1990s comic book art. #comics #wolerine #samkieth #wecurate @the.comic.syndicate We don't just collect, we curate

THE X-MEN ARE BUILT ON EVOLUTION. SO IS THE ARTWORK. Before the finished image, thereā€™s the rough work. Figures and shapes forming. The gesture. The expression. The anatomy. The composition. The moment when a loose sketch starts becoming a character. The rough lines form a figure, muscle, costume, expression. These are work-in-progress X-Men sketch cardsā€”some further along than others, some still revealing as they transform. Atoms forming in real-time evolving like the mutant gene šŸ§¬ in a pubescent teen. Thatā€™s one of my favorite parts of working traditionally. Working through the composition as the Hexaptych takes shape into one continuous image. You donā€™t get to hide behind the undo button. Power down or press ESCAPE. Itā€™s real, human made. Mistakes and all. Every mark becomes part of the process. Every brushstroke a path to completion. Iā€™ve always loved the X-Men for that idea of evolutionā€”not just mutation, but characters constantly changing, growing, breaking, rebuilding and becoming something new. These cards are doing the same thing. Like Loganā€™s Mutant Healing Factor, layer on layer regenerating until complete. Sketch ā†’ paint ā†’ refine ā†’ repeat. Still evolving. Still transforming. Like Children of the ATOM. Evolving until completion. Patrick Hatfield ā€” Artist #XMen #MarvelComics #SketchCards #ComicArt #HandPaintedArt Work-in-progress hand-drawn X-Men sketch card featuring CYCLOPS in a dynamic pose, with a large red visor-like covering his eyes and generating a ruby laser. The figure is rendered in expressive pencil and watercolor with visible construction lines and loose brushwork.
