The boys went Bowling! (Apologies for the late upload! I been out and about this whole entire month! 😭)

For CHUBB 13, I decided to do a lil something different. When we went to Bainbridge Island over the summer for poke, we had to take the ferry and that activity in itself was so much fun. So I thought to myself, why not do an activity as the main focal point, and the food be 2nd?

A dear friend of mine told me once that bowling is such a bear sport, and I was so confused as to why she said that. I went bowling the next week and saw hella groups of gay fat dudes and I was like “damn, that’s bitches hypothesis is right.” 😂

So I was like, well why the hell not? It was so much fun. We had such a blast bowling and eating the food in the bowling alley, (which great btw!) and had a good time at bar not too far away from the alley.

Food will definitely be to focus of CHUBB, no doubt about that. But group activities will definitely be something we be doing more often. Keep a look out for that. 👀

TIL next time!

CHUBB NIGHT OUT!

Anytime @missmaamshe is in town to take over the mall with the local baddies, the CHUBB crew is sat and ready to admire and awe. But before we go to the mall, we always gotta go to the food court for some grub. And the food court being Tamari Bar lol. (Shout out to them! U always kill it!)

We had a blast at Mall Drag this past Saturday, and I am so inspired by Seattle scene. We got some GOOD GOOD performers in the 206, we are truly spoiled. Also shout out to maamshe for giving us Kelealians a shout out. I felt that. I needed that.

We got such a top tier appetizer plate of so many different aspects of Drag, it truly felt like the coolest mall I ever been to. That number of Midori Monet eating a pupusa on stage while everyone came to her and tipped fundamentally changed my life for good. Guawww.

Thanks to everyone who came thru from the group! We gotta go out more oftenz It was so much fun!

TIL next time,

Erik-Founder of CHUBB.

Back in the ID for CHUBB #6! I love the ID so much and it holds such a special place in my heart. Such good food in each and every corner. So of course the CHUBB crew is gonna eat at every establishment in the neighborhood.

In our 3rd meet up in the ID, we found ourselves at Fuji Sushi in the Nihon Machi area of the ID aka Japantown. We rented out the tatami room, which was nice cuz we got to bark and snicker in our own private area, all while eating a spread of high quality fresh fish and other Japanese fried appetizers. Wanna feel like you are in Japan, but can barely afford a bus ride to Renton? Rent the tatami room baby!

A small and intimate group this time around, but it is always nice to be able to hang out and chill in a smaller setting. Gives us an opportunity to get a lil closer. ☺️

Springtime is essentially here and that just means summer is around the corner. Looking forward to being able to eat at places with outdoor seating but also maybe even barbecues at local parks! Stay tuned for that.

Til next time! ☺️🤘🏽

For the fifth CHUBB meet up, we find ourselves at the most southern part of Seattle. OK, maybe not literally the most southern part but definitely the most south we have gone so far as a group.

Billiard Hoang has been a Seattle food darling for a few years now ever since hoes online have been posting about it on all the social medias. I have been coming here when the only people playing pool were loud Viet uncles and Mexican construction workers who just got off work. Lemme just say it’s a lil more alabaster than usual. 😂

The food is superb, and I always tell people to go beyond just getting a classic bowl of pho or bahn mi. (Although their iterations of those classics make my mouth water. 🤤) This meet up was the biggest meet up yet! We had 4 new folks (Shout out to Ronnie, Edgar, Ryan W., and Ronn) and 7 of returning members, bringing it to a total of 11 people! 😱

Not gonna lie, I was nervous of having such a big group since the past four meet ups have been more smaller intimate turnouts. But having a big group was such a good ass time!

It was nonstop talking, conversing, laughing, and just general catching up. Shit almost brought tears to your boy because this is what I had envisioned for this group. Everyone just getting together and chowing down from different cultural backgrounds and walks of life.

Afterwards, a small group of us headed to south center and went to round one. Tell me why there was a huge ass line to get in as if we were waiting in line for the hottest club in Seattle. Arcade and claw games were played, lots of money was wasted, and chisme was spilled. Ya boy won 3 plushies, and honestly? I felt like I was that bitch. 💅🏼

Thank you everyone who came thru and showed out. I never take you all for granted, and I am grateful for you all. You guys are the reason I keep this shit going!! 🙂‍↕️🤘🏽

Til next time!

A FAB flash rose that bloomed with trust and nurturing 🌹
(Half healed/half freshhh)

To have the designs I create magnified and expanded on like this is such a huge honor. Watching my little flash babies grow into CENTERPIECES will forever send me into a tearful

“really?!?! are you sure 😭👉🏽👈🏽”

Tattoos grow when you pour love, time, and trust into them. This little flower through my lense got be loved enough to triple in size and sit right in the middle of a chest because someone believed in my eye and let me push it further.

Here’s your reminder, like this rose, to take up space. Trust yourself and the people who uplift you. Be centered, nurtured, tender, and still blooming anyway.
(Oh and Ofcoarse alittle thorny ha😏)

Thank you @wolveshowling and everyone who’s ever pushed for a little more FAB.

Booking spring pieces for flash customs and everything in betweeeen, let’s all bloom and grow together through more support live and nurturing!

email submission in bio / DM to chat about your FABtatt

$I was a little intimidated when challenged to make the evil eye look like crystal (AND BY NONE OTHER THAN THE SAME HOE THAT ALWAYS LOVES TO MAKE MY LIFE HARDER…ME) but I am in loOove with how it came out, like so proud of my growth in tattooing and in my ambition. Definitely wanna do some more crystal stuff now haha 👀🤭 Thank you @wolveshowling for coming back to me for another piece and for trusting my vision with this!
